1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Help with tunisian crochet blanket on: August 13, 2010 11:44:14 AM
I'm planning on making a BIG blanket using tunisian crochet, which is all completely new to me. I'm used to crocheting so not sure how it's going to work when I need to keep all the stitches on the needle - will the tunisian hooks be long enough for such a big project? This is probably a really dumb question but I want to make sure I've got the right idea before I make an attempt at it.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Crocheting basic cone shape on: August 18, 2009 08:47:54 AM
I want to make these: http://www.offworld.com/assets_c/2009/04/3184230541_5843ab4793_o-thumb-550x412-19700.jpg

Does anyone have any patterns that are the same basic cone shape as this? Or any advice on how to make them?

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Disguising a join? on: January 18, 2009 05:52:49 AM
I'm making some hats where I'm crocheting a rectangle and joining as I go, and gathering it at the top.

Is there any way I can disguise the joining line other than crocheting in the round? I'm using FP/BP DC if that makes any difference.
