Wanted to share with you guys my latest project! These coasters were made from my old 2010 calendar.

I'm unfortunately bad with resin, so I used a lot of Mod Podge

3  Picture Frame Makeoever in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by AGoofyGirl on: March 18, 2010 08:38:29 PM
I got a picture frame from my grandmother this past Christmas. It's a silver frame with star cutouts and it has interchangeable sheets of paper so that you can change the color of the stars. Problem was the colors of the papers were a little gaudy ... they came in bright primary colors like yellow, orange and green. And they didn't match the silver of the frame or anything else in my room. So I decided to do something about it ...

I cut out a piece of scrap paper the same shape as the frame. I was too lazy to cut out each individual star, so I cut and pasted bits of colored paper all around.

I really like the outcome!

That's me and my momma!  Cheesy

I used old envelopes for the paper.

Its a tradition in our family to get a new calendar for Christmas ... since I'm a big Disney fan I got a Disney calendar last year. Some of the pictures were so cool I didn't have the heart to throw them away!
