5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / shot glasses - undecided on pricing on: November 27, 2005 01:10:15 PM
I'm selling my shot glass creations as singles and as sets of 4
but am torn on how much/little to price them at, it's something I've never sold before

any help or advice on pricing will be highly esteemed
6  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / CraftWorld on: October 15, 2005 02:41:22 PM
does anyone here sell, or has previously sold things through craft world
or know anything much about craftworld
http://www.craftworld.co.NZ/

I'm considering a tiny booth as a pre Christmas option, but when i checked out to the wellington mall it seemed a bit dead and quiet. So any info on how busy or quiet it seems as a vistor or success/failure as a vendor would be greatly appreciated.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Playing with Paua on: October 08, 2005 02:30:27 AM
i've been playing around with paua shell for the last few weeks, here are two of my favourite creations.

Earings made from chain and paua shell  - i drilled a hole in the shell
Window hanging made from a tacky paua shell keychain, some glass from a lampshade and a selection of beads.

i hope i posted this in the right place, this is my first attempt at starting a topic with my creations
8  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / martinboroughfair stall on: September 30, 2005 08:45:36 PM
i'm thinking of having a stall at the martinborough fair it's on two Saturdays
Feb 4th and March 4th 2006

I can't make the first staurday, so is anyone interested in sharing rental?
i'm superflexible about how we could do it.
either splitting everything 50/50 or going percentages

either pm me, or reply here
to get a stall approved you need to show photographs of stall items before november 1st, so it something to consider before then

cheers
9  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / marble magnets on: August 22, 2005 03:27:28 PM
I'm planning to make and sell these at craft fairs
the cheapest i can buy ceramic disk magnets for is $50.60 for 100

has anyone tracked down cheaper prices like the tantalising 10 cents a magnet in the USA
