recently i bought a shoebox full of vintage lace from etsy, as i tend to go through lace quickly. i can't resist putting it on everything i make. in the box was a panel of hand-tatted lace, that's been initialed! if you look closely at the third picture, there's a blue "A" to the right of the pin. does anyone know how old it might be?
anyway, i shortened this wool skirt, added the lace panel (well, it's just pinned right now), and added a TON of lace to the bottom.
it's SUPPOSED to be for sale at the shows i'm doing this weekend (www.dallasindieexperience.com
) but i'm not sure i can bear to part with it! i wish it didn't fit me!
someone help me figure out how high i can price it so that it's fair, but still high enough to make sure it goes to someone who REALLY loves it. i'm thinking between 50 and 65 dollars?
(sidenotes: the top in the picture was a high-necked top and i just lowered the neckline. also in the picture with the initial, i messed with the colors so you could see it.)
as usual, the shirt's on the form kind of lopsided so ignore that. and the big shiny circle in the middle of it is one of the dials on the form, not part of the shirt.
