8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Baby on the Way Craftalong! on: January 22, 2006 05:55:02 PM
this craftalong has been inactive for a while...  Undecided which makes me sad because i've done a lot of stuff for it. my sister's baby was born on friday, and i had a lot of things crafted for her- not neccessarily the things mentioned in the first post, but some of it, and some other stuff- so i dunno, hopefully people will start posting again. anyways, here's a bunch of pics of the baby and the yellow blanket he's laying on is the one from this craftalong, the lionbrand patternhttp://flickr.com/photos/48886024@N00/sets/72057594052423227/
9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: Where the Wild Things Are Baby Shower on: January 17, 2006 09:31:13 AM
i may be tempted to steal this theme!!!! my sister's baby shower is in 2 weeks but i haven't made/sent invites yet so there's still time... i LOVE this idea. the baby's bedroom theme is winnie the pooh, but i think that's LAME-O in comparison to W.T.W.T.A. so it's either wild things or maybe john lennon's illustrations for sean?? my mom's fiance got her a john lennon patterned baby blanket from toys r us. anyway, do i have anything constructive to add to this forum as far as W.T.W.T.A. party theme ideas?? hm... here's one! i just got the cook book 'enchanted broccoli forest'  and the title comes from a dish whos recipe is in the book- little broccoli trees sticking up out of a casserole like a forest!!! message me if you want the recipe. p.s. it's vegetarian. Smiley
