How do you wrap a weirdly shaped stone such as this? I think the maker of the necklace used wire. Is that possible? How does it look all...soldered like that?

Does anyone know a good (and economical) way to wrap an asymmetrical cab or pendant like this? I don't like having the prongs - I like the clean finished top edge like in the photo, but the wrap doesn't have to be that smooth. It can conform to the crevices in the stone.

Any suggestions?

I was wondering if there's a glue that's just like hot glue but doesn't come with the multitude of glue "strings" when it dries.

It has to be:
- clear
- dries just as quickly
- at least as strong
- non-stringy
- odorless would be great

Any suggestions?

Imagine a tote that looks kind of like this: http://www.promotional---items.com/canvas-bags/images/hand-bags.jpg

But with a dark brown leather handle and dark brown leather bottom (like the very bottom of the bag, underneath the bag).  And the dark green is actually the normal off-white oatmeal canvas colour.

What should I do to it do make it more interesting/attractive?  It's already quite attractive b/c of its leather handles, but what can I do to make it really unique?

By quality, I mean the type of materials used.

For example.  If I made jewelry, would you rather me use sterling silver findings and chain with real semi-precious gemstones and have the price be higher (ie. $30), or would you rather me use silver plated findings and chain with perhaps real gemstones or perhaps glass ones and have the price be lower (ie. $15 under).

I'm having difficulty choosing whether I should shell out the cash and buy sterling silver or 14k gold findings or just settle with the plated ones, which are better than the nickel ones.

I mean, which are more attractive?  And which, in the long run, would get me better business?  I mean, I was thinking I could start out with the plated findings and eventually jack my prices up and use better findings once I get a following, but I don't know if I should just start with the best materials possible or start with the mediocre ones and possibly have more sales.

I can't think of anywhere interesting to photograph in DFW.  Well, more like Fort Worth and Arlington.

I want to take pictures of abandoned buildings, but I don't know how accessible or safe they are.
I've already taken pictures of various bridges around Fort Worth as well as the train station downtown.

Any ideas?
