1  Wrapping an awkwardly shaped stone in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by instantphoebe on: January 14, 2010 09:28:37 PM

How do you wrap a weirdly shaped stone such as this? I think the maker of the necklace used wire. Is that possible? How does it look all...soldered like that?

2  Wrapping asymmetrical cabochons in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by instantphoebe on: August 17, 2009 10:04:29 PM

Does anyone know a good (and economical) way to wrap an asymmetrical cab or pendant like this? I don't like having the prongs - I like the clean finished top edge like in the photo, but the wrap doesn't have to be that smooth. It can conform to the crevices in the stone.

Any suggestions?
