11  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Daughters Pic into Woodburned plaque! on: October 07, 2009 02:18:51 PM
So I wasn't really sure where this should go but it is an image reproduction. Sooo this is where I shall put it. My husband did this from a photo of my daughter. This is the first photo he's ever done. He's dabbled with woodburning phrases and whatnot but never an actual photo. He keeps complaining about this and that in the reproduction and I keep telling him he did an awesome job but he wont believe me, so I told him I'd let craftsters decide. So without further ado.....

Because he doesnt want the actual photo of our daughter posted I blurred her face but you can see the detail in the rest of the pic.

what a cute idea Smiley you should make a cute little birdie with pearl eyes to go with it Smiley

Thank you!! Yeah I could definately try a little birdy. That would be cute..Hmmm. Ill have to get some wrapping wire first though. I did this one with memory wire and it was definately harder to work with.

That is stunning!  You did a great, great job with the wire.  That really looks like a nest.  I'll bet it would be beautiful with "egg" beads that were robin egg blue color too.

Thanks much!! I thought so too and wanted to make one for Easter. I just have to find some blue egg beads now. To Michaels I go!!
