Looks fantastic, I am envious of your satin stitch.

Heh, awesome, and do I see sparklies?

Stunning! You might be tired of the chain stitch, but it looks incredible.

Thanks for the compliments Smiley
The limited palette was a bit crazy-making at times. There's only 11 colors used, including the two shades of blue for her eyes. Very solid patches of color, and I got very, very tired of grey and reds! But the subject made it worthwhile - I was dying to see her finished. The black stitching on black fabric was a pain, though.
Next BIG project is 50 colors, and I look forward to it, confetti or no.

Already posted her in the completed projects board, but here's HQ, all done.

If you peek into the Big Project SAL thread, you've seen this girl in progress. But now she's all done!
I'm a Harley Quinn fangirl, and wanted to do my first "big" project. So I found some awesome pixel art and ran it through a patternmaker. Much fiddling later, I had a pattern. After two months (and a week...) of stitching, she's all done.

She's worked one over one on 25ct Lugana, so yes, those are some bitty stitches. Finished size is 9 inches by 14 inches 225 x 350 stitches. Plan to get her framed when I can afford it. Now, to plan my next BAP...

Excellent choice for a first project! Looks good, hope you keep stitching.

Your harley is so hawt, she looks even better on the frame Cheesy

Hehe, her colors really blend together and make her pop from a few feet away!

Do you prefer working with a stand frame, or just a plain hoop?

I bought a frame (without a stand) a few months ago, but I still haven't used it. Too big I guess, but maybe a stand helps..

I haven't stitched on it yet. Just finished setting everything up Smiley But I've been getting more and more into BIG projects, and I hate hooping over stitches. I think this'll work a lot better as I work on various BAPs.

While taking pictures of my new stand frame, it occurred to me that it was a prime progress pic, too!

Need to finish this gal up. Been distracted making a rag rug.
