Eight more to go...

Much of last year, I was working a horrible job with achingly long shifts, so I didn't touch my BAP after May! Finally picked it back up, and have a little progress to show. This is roughly two days of work.

Here's a closer view of my progress, with terrible lighting. You can't tell, but that's bone/bisque Aida.

Two weeks in! So, so much confetti on this project. Fingers crossed that it'll be worthwhile and make for an awesome blended picture.

Got my supplies yesterday - what a beautiful floss toss! I love how rich and antique-y these colors are, going to enjoy working with them.

After creating the pattern in February, I was FINALLY able to order thread and fabric for my next big project today! I cannot wait to get started.

It's Chansons D'Aieules, my favorite piece of artwork by Alphonse Mucha. I'm so excited to start her
Final piece will be 10 inches wide by 14.5 inches tall (180 x 260 stitches,) on 18 count bone/bisque aida. I expect to take a while!

There's actually an option built-in. Under the File Menu, look for Export.




Save Image gives you the pattern as an image file, Save Legend saves the symbol chart as a document file.



DPI determines size and ease of reading the chart. Just fiddle around and figure out what works best for you. It's pretty easy, promise And very helpful if you're making patterns on a laptop (like me!) to be printed on a separate computer, heh.

If you peek into the Big Project SAL thread, you've seen this girl in progress. But now she's all done!
I'm a Harley Quinn fangirl, and wanted to do my first "big" project. So I found some awesome pixel art and ran it through a patternmaker. Much fiddling later, I had a pattern. After two months (and a week...) of stitching, she's all done.



She's worked one over one on 25ct Lugana, so yes, those are some bitty stitches. Finished size is 9 inches by 14 inches 225 x 350 stitches. Plan to get her framed when I can afford it. Now, to plan my next BAP...
