First things first, I get absolutely NO credit for this. I directly followed the Tutorial by Weighanchor which can be found here:

Thank you Weighanchor, this project made me so happy. Your portraits are inspiring and beautiful. I will keep working at it!

I first thought I would make these for my dad for his 60th as these are all his grandkids but I will be on the other side of the world for Christmas so I am going to save them and make a set for the parents of the kids as well as for all the grandparents, and of course keep this practice set for myself.

All I would add is to make darn sure you dont spread the masking fluid too thin as there are spots of colour on some of them where there were not supposed to be. Also, I essentially made a light table by putting a light on the floor and proping one of my storm windows on top of chairs over the light.

This was actually the first project I ever did after discovering Craftster. I had had these chairs for years and it never occured to me to change them so, as always, thank you Craftster. This was years ago but it just occured to me to post it up here

I simply went home, took the screws out and started pulling them apart. I left the orange vinyl on the seat but had to take it off the back or it wouldnt fit back together. This also gave me a ready made pattern on how to cut out the fabric for the back. Simply use a staple gun and voila!

Good afternoon......afte rnoon! Already!?

So excited to get my first PM from my needer. Im such a nerd I am sure I sent back WAY too much information and questions but I just adore Craftster and Craftsters. Ive even had a fellow craftster offer me a place to stay when I travel to Amsterdam later this year. It made me tear up, still makes me tear up at her generosity to a stranger.

Anywho, Im glad for all the Pintrest talk because I too didnt really know what it was. This makes me realize I should start a Wist or Pintrest. Hope you are all having a great day!

Thanks for the warning SaphireMoon! I thought I felt someone watching...maybe that was just the coyotes! Im so excited to have you as my needer as I understand you are a pro at this (ok I too have been stalking...just a little). MoonlitSun, for sure you can see the northern(or southern version) of aurora Boreallis closer to the poles most often but even here in southern Alberta we get the treat once in a while.

I have to tell you all that I did my first sewing project, other than alterations, this week. I made a cute two tone elephant stuffy. Actually turned out cute and my nephew loves it! I may post it later. I'm just excited and had to share

MoonlitSun, I thought of you a couple evenings ago because you mentioned your love for all things sky and the Northern Lights appeared here! It has truly been 5 years since I last saw them this far south and they were beautiful! I was shivering on my lawn in the middle of the night watching! Soo worth it.

Wow! Thank you MoonlitSun! I think that is my first "this rocks" We get the photos of all the shoes together in a few weeks. As soon as I get them I will post them.

We did find that some of our shoes cracked. Mine got one little crack in the side but the ones that we did NOT use fabric glue on as the base really cracked so dont skip that step!

Well hi there! I have a friend who suggested a hostel that is very clean and quieter than many hostels. I will get the name again and see if you have ever heard of it.

Im excited to meet some Craftsters, I have never met another one in person and to think of meeting Smallhold and IdlersDesign all the way in Amsterdam is so thrilling!

If I book the flight I am looking at, I will be there only a week....this trip
