So I had a leather jacket given to me a few years back and I have yet to wear it simply because I dont really like the way it fits me. Its a nice jacket but not my style. So what I want to do is shorten in basically. But I have been sewn leather, let alone a leather jacket. Help please? I need tips, hints, and any other advise you all have. Below are two pictures, the first is close to what the jacket looks like now, and the second is kinda how I want it to look.

So I finally got my bedroom taken care of since we moved. It had been a total mess for SO long and I finally did it. I mean, there is still alot of work to be done as far as art and decor BUT it is now nice and organized. And I just really wanted to show it off.

So I was watching Mr and Mrs Smith and noticed there AMAZING lighting fixture and just had to have it. So how would you suggest I do it? What could I use for the circles? Would I HAVE to use glass?? Any and all help is appreciated

So it was a friends birthday this weekend and I decieded to go all out for his cake since his next birthday he will be in Iraq. So I took my very limited knowledge of cakes and off too hobby lobby I went to get fun things. This is the result. My first real cake and first go at making candy/chocolates. Im pretty proud. Sadly I only have small pics due to the fact that my camera was highjacked so all I have is a crappy camera phone shot.

The cake is 1 layer of Funfetti, 1 layer of Devils Food, with Vanilla ( colored to teal ) pudding in the middle. The frosting is buttercreme and the stars are white chocolate mint.




p.s. I just realized that I didnt dot the I or cross the T. Whoops. haha.

[I know its not swine flu protection but I still think its great. So please dont yell at me about how effective against swine flu they would or wouldnt be. Judge them just on cuteness. Like I said they were only inspired by my husband saying I needed to wear a mask.]

So as everyone knows swine flu is driving people crazy. My husband even told me that I have to wear a mask and as I tried to explain that a simple dust mask wont work he still bought them. So the other night I couldnt sleep and with a bit of sequin and alot of patience I made this. I know its not swine flu protection but I still think its great. Like I said they were only inspired by my husband saying I needed to wear a mask..I meanif nothing else it sould work at a club or a concert or something. Im going out to buy my sequin to make different colors.

This one has about 300 sequin on it I think. I lost count. It took me 6 hours give or take a few minutes. The first two pictures were taken out side in natural light with no flash. And please excuse the "action" shot of me wearing it. I have not put any make up on yet so Im looking rough.

What do you all think?? Opinion? Critique?? Anything I could do to make them better. Would you buy these or do they look too cheaply made?? (( And as for that last question Im not advertising or promoting, just looking for a heads up opinion )) I would love everyone's input.

So I am in LOVE with these. They are inspired by Audrey Kitching. So far they are my favorite shoes that I have done. What do you all think of them? Comments are very much appreciated.

So Ive seen all those laser cut acrylic necklaces out there that are being sold for like 20 bucks a peice and I had an idea. This is my first attmpt at it and it didnt turn out as great as I was hoping but Im hoping that after a few tries it will improve. I want all of your opinions on it please.

So today in the mall I saw the most amazing pair of high heels that we covered in sequin... only problem they were $80 and I was like um NO. SO I came home and made my own little version. What do you all think? They arent finished yet, Im still going to add some more to fill in the spaces. Any other suggestions as to how to make them better? What do you guys think? I adore them but I could be totally lame.

So Im working on this crazy  tutu dress. I have the tutu portion of it done and I am now STUCK on the style I want to do the top in. Ive draw the two out that I am considering. If you could PLEASE PLEASE give me your opinions on which one I should do. Also... dont mind my horrible drawing skills I was trying to be quick.

So here are so more pictures of what Ive done to his little music area. I put up folders for his lyrics and chords and such. I also mounted that pick holder. And I put up a hanger for his cables.
