21  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Sweat Shoppe Swap Round 20 (signups til Sept 20) (send by Oct 12) on: September 19, 2009 11:11:39 PM
So I should put this but I can make any scrabble pendants with any pic/theme you want (you can send me a pic) or I can make/give a random one.  I have ones ready, but I want to let people personalize them.  Also for the paper beads, I have ones like the ones in my shop, and also ones that are wooden beads covered with washi origami paper.  I don't have picks yet.  On the list on the second post my name is linked with my store.

It just shows how serious we are that we can have pages about our scissors.

And I don't have a particular place for scissors, and so I think they are lost.  I go out and buy the pack of 5 scissors for 5 dollars at Michaels (which come in different sizes).  After I get home I start finding the lost ones and promptly work on losing them.  I'm not organized at all.  I just moved into an apartment and have a walk in closet and about two feet is for clothes and everything else is for crafts.  So right now I have scissors on my table, side table, kitchen drawer, in my closet in several places, in my desk drawers and next to my bed.

I realized today was the 12th and got really excited, and came here to see if anyone else is (of course they are).  I start grad school orientation tomorrow and all week I have been planning my stalking instead of thinking of the rest of my life.

I think I have become obsessed with swaps.

29  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Bleach designs into shirts on: August 23, 2009 06:31:14 AM
I do this all the time.  You can use dishwashing detergent that has bleach in it.  It is think enough that you can stencil with it, but I recommend adhereing the stencil with glue because it tends to leak out a tad.  I use Cascade with Bleach
