1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Please help! Confused by Daria Belt Pattern on: June 14, 2006 02:52:43 PM
I'm a fool. I checked with a knitting mentor and apparently I was doing it right. The full effect takes a few inches to reveal itself. Forgive me for the false alarm...
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My first sweater! on: May 19, 2006 12:15:37 PM
I knit a sweater!!!!! I'm so excited it's ridiculous!!!!

This is based on a top-down raglan cardigan pattern I found online, designed by CosmicPluto and shared generously on her blog here: http://www.cosmicpluto.com/blog/?page_id=397

3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / 2nd Jennifer Pudney Needlepoint Kit on: December 13, 2004 12:53:43 PM
Hi everyone,

Here is a picture of my second Jennifer Pudney kit (http://www.jenniferpudney.com).  I gave it to my best friend for her birthday on Sunday. I love Jennifer Pudney's designs.

I actually customized the background stiches using some examples I found in a book I recently bought at a used bookstore (will post title later, I can't remember it!).

Also, I sent the completed canvas back to the company's U.S. distributor for finishing and framing -- I've gotten great, fast service from them, twice now, and the price can't be beat.

4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / My completed Jennifer Pudney Kit on: November 22, 2004 11:12:13 AM
This is my first post. I love this forum! I thought I was the only one in the world who loved craft projects but detested snowmen and teddybears!  Yippee!

One of my best finds so is Jennifer Pudney's needpoint and embroidery kits. www.jenniferpudney.com

I'm trying to post a picture of the embroidery-on-felt kit I just completed as a wedding shower gift for my sister. It went over great!

Here's hoping the pic appears below...

I also sent the finished tapestry back to the company for finishing and framing which they did beautifully.
