1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / "Camping suits" for me and my BF on: January 09, 2011 05:08:43 AM
Hi!

I made these for a competition we had in our sewing club where we were supposed to make "campings suits" and overdo it a little for our summer barbeque, we won the first price! Smiley

They are made mostly out of old bedsheets, and the details are made of clothes that did not fit anymore. They are SO comfortable but may not be the most flattering pieces of clothing we ever did wear  Roll Eyes

Here they are:

They are identical except that suit has pink stripes above blue and BFs are the opposite way around.

C&C welcome!

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Woolen dress for my friends daughter on: January 09, 2011 04:55:50 AM
Hi!

This autumn I knitted a woolen dress for my friends daughter in a "nordic" pile of flesh (something modern that looks a bit like traditional knitting patterns). My friend is swedish but lives in Norway so I thought it was cool to have a "nordic" dress.

Here it is: (sorry 'bout the first picture beeing blurry, it was the best of the bunch though)

C&C welcome Smiley

Wow! It looked like you had the most wonderful wedding. Why should one use all that money on all that stuff, when a budget wedding could be that stunning! I am getting married in July and I must say: You really inspired me! Thanks Smiley

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Pc- bag from leftover yarn on: April 22, 2010 01:29:33 AM
Cool! Thanks for the tip! I've actually got tons of those little ends lying about now. I live in a loft-appartment, so I guess I simply might throw it out of the window for the birds to catch! Smiley

Hi!

I made this jacket in woolen fleece for my mother for christmas but have'nt got around to post it until now. (sorry bout the blurry phonepics)  The pile of flesh is from a Norwegian sewingmagazine. The decoration on the back is not homemade.

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Pc- bag from leftover yarn on: April 20, 2010 10:41:40 PM
Hi!

For about half a year now I've been saving leftover yarn from my knitting projects, tying it together "makin" yarn. My friends has also kindly donated their leftovers too, so it was a pretty big ball when I started knitting last week.
Anyways, I made this pc-bag for my boyfriend out of it:

before sewn together:

Detail:

This was part of a project on reus/recycling in my sewing club, it was good fun and it feels good to use some of the leftovers that are usually scrapped.
