11  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: How I made my Slayers baby quilt. (Very pic heavy.) on: June 18, 2013 07:29:58 AM
That is AMAZING! Now I'm debating whether to show this to my husband or not... He loves Slayers, but that's a LOT of work he'd want me to do... Wink
12  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Sewing Accessories Swap Idea on: April 28, 2012 10:40:10 AM
I'm in! I don't have any cute sewing accessories, so I totally want in! Plus, I love smallish swaps Wink
13  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Awesome black and starry pink wallet of happiness! on: April 16, 2012 01:39:27 PM
Thanks for the comments! And it does, it fits so well and is so nice and small! I've been jealous of my husband's store bought zippered wallet thingies, but they were always too bulky for me.

So I saw this awesome post

and all the wonderful accessories, and fell in love with the zipper wallet. I LOVE small wallets, because I hate carrying a purse, and like to carry my wallet in my pocket. My mom also happened to be looking for something exactly like it (but waterproof-ish, which will be the hard part) for her trip to Disney World. I decided to make myself one for a first run before I try making hers out of not cotton.

(They're thumbnails because they're kind of blurry >_>)

It was a LOT of fun, and really easy if you've made a zippered pouch before. The tutorial linked to in the craftster post above had wonderful directions. I tried to get away with a 4" zipper, but it's slightly too small to get my cards in and out easily. I'll have to buy a bigger one and trim it down myself for the one for my mom.
15  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Extreme knitting cushion using 24mm needles! on: April 14, 2012 06:22:23 AM
That is really cute and looks amazing! Well done being coordinated enough to do that with 8 strands and huge needles!

How fun! I love it!

I LOVE this Ouran Host Club embroidery! It's super cute and fun! Did you get the figures from one of the books, or online, or make them yourself?

Those are really super cute!
19  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: I'm Addicted to Squares! Yoshi Egg Baby Blanket on: April 11, 2012 03:54:28 PM
That is awesome, and looks a little less challenging than some of the bigger pixel afghans. Well done!

Ok, the bag is awesome and beautiful, but I'm another big fan of the accessories! I want to make some for myself, but I'm out of seven inch zippers! D:
