1  UNITED STATES / South Carolina / Spartanburg, SC? on: February 27, 2009 05:22:55 PM
I live near downtown Spartanburg, and I'm wondering, does anyone here knows of some good fabric stores nearby? I'm willing to travel as far as Greenville or Gaffney if it means some good cloth. Thank you! Smiley
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My first crafster post ~ Rabbit hat (with pockets!) on: January 24, 2009 04:20:37 PM
I just finished it today, and I rather like how it turned out. It's made of super warm fleece and it's lined on the inside. The ears are long enough to use as a scarf, and the pockets are the perfect length to put your hands in. I'm surprised that the ears weren't too heavy for the hat. I did have some problems keeping the pockets closed though, but it works fine now. No pattern was used.

Now, on to the terrible photos!

The ears are huge!

Lined in red on the inside.

Pocket view - fastened with a button and some cording.

Action shot! Don't mind the shop vac, we're just doing some woodwork and we needed to clean the sawdust off the carpet. Grin I'll try to get a better action shot later, cause it's too dark right now.

What do you guys think? Like it? Hate it? Think it could be better? Comment and tell me!
