Hello Everyone! It has been quite some time since I've been on the Forum; I really missed this place & all my sister craftsers! I've kind of been on a sewing hiatus for past 8 months due to health issues.....Finally feeling better & decided to make my first dress of Spring; to tell the truth I was a bit selfish & made myself a dress this time, I Love the Prints & the pattern I used; it was really simple! Hope Ya Like it?

Hello Everyone!
I haven't made a quilt since before Christmas; so I was inspired by this fabric I found at Joann's. I thought it was fun and funky so I made a lap quilt. I especially love the paisley backing. C&C as always welcomed.

9  New Dress Re-con/Up-cycle in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by sunflowerchild on: February 01, 2010 03:32:36 PM
Hello All!
I wanted to share my new dress that I re-conned/up-cycled from a little more than a fabric shower curtain. I fell in love with the fabric at a thrift shop; it's turquoise blue with darker blue, pink and lighter blue butterfly's all over it. I made the body as a bubble dress with it gathered in four points around. The bodice is elastic above the breast and the straps are salvaged from the shower curtain rings themselves. I hope you like it. My dress form Violet was so kind to model for me. As always C&C are welcomed!
