41  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Dolly on: November 25, 2004 09:25:32 AM
I saw one like this in a shop. It was expensive and therefore I had to steal the idea Smiley

42  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Hobbyhorse on: November 25, 2004 09:23:20 AM
I made this for my niece who is 4. I hope she'll like it.
It's really easy to make and hopefully fun to get.

A cool detail is that the fabric I used  for lining in the ears is old clothes from the 70s that I found in the attic of my inlaws.  I think this used to be a dress that my sister in law wore as a child.
I'm so looking forward to see what my motherin law will say...she doesn't know I took it Smiley

43  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Tiny tapestry. on: November 25, 2004 09:12:57 AM
I've made a whole bunch of these, all custmized to fit my friends. The messages has been varying from "Gone crazy, back soon" to this...which doesn't speak for itself Smiley

44  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Beads beads beads... on: November 25, 2004 09:05:33 AM
Tiny beads and larger ones.
Here's some of the things I've made for Santa and he'll deliver them to friends and family.

Full set for my sister in law. Necklace, bracelet, ring and earrings.

These I've made by the tons. All of my friends have them, and most of their friends too. Easy to make and fun to give away.

Originally made to wear with an eveningdress.

For my youngest daughter.(11 years)

For my mother in law. She'll look nice in red.

Hope you like them.

45  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Star trek combadge on: November 24, 2004 08:47:45 AM

I made this star trek uniform for my trekkie son (for his prom actually), and it turned out great, the problem is that I need the combadge, and I don't even know how it looks.
I'm pretty sure I can make one if I only get a good picture of it.
These things aren't easy to come by in Sweden for some reason...it seems to me we have trekkies enough.

Well as everyone with a finicky disposition knows, it's a most annoying itch to see him in this really nice (enterprise) uniform, knowing that something vital is missing.
Besides, it would make a great christmaspresent.

46  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / What paint to use on: November 22, 2004 02:38:34 PM
Hi everybody!

I've been mening to make some t-shirts using stenciling-technique, but I've never been doing this before (even though I've tried most other techniques to alter and make thhings) and I'm a bit confused.
I found thhis really great tuitorial, but I can't find what kind of paint to use...
I've boughht some latexpaint, hoping to make something really cool, but it turns out it's for bodypainting only...or is it?

Please help!
