1  Help required - hat pattern in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by SOLATIUM on: September 22, 2009 07:46:24 AM
Hi guys
For ages I have wanted to knit myself a cool hat, but have not been able to find one I like. I really like the shape of the silver work on the following pendant and wanted the hat to have a pixie point, can anyone help me out with a pattern?

Many thanks, Sam

2  Mother's Day Cardigan in Knitting: Completed Projects by SOLATIUM on: September 06, 2009 06:57:56 AM
Hi All
Just thought that I would post this cardigan I made for my Marther for mother's day (in March in the UK).
I made it from the following pattern, but altered the neck and left out the crocheting.

http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=100&d_id=12&lang=en

You can't really see from the pictures, but I used a circular needle for the body, I wished I hadn't though as it took ages to get from one end of the row to the other, lol. I also crocheted up the seems as I HATE sewing up my knitting when I have finished and this wool was particularly evil to try and sew with. All in all though I am really pleased and it is only the second adult cardigan that I have ever knitted as I usually stick to babywear.
Many thanks, Sam :-)

3  Knitted cushion cover - advise please in Knitting: Completed Projects by SOLATIUM on: May 04, 2009 06:08:42 AM
Hi guys

I completed this last night, but I am not happy with the flap, any suggestions?

I was thinking of doing a couple of lines of crochet on the underside edge in the hope that it would add some weight.
Many thanks, Sam

4  Matilda Cardigan and Leggings/Tight set for my baby niece in Knitting: Completed Projects by SOLATIUM on: January 19, 2009 04:56:58 AM
Hello all

I have just completed this set for my baby niece Lahna.

The pattern I used for the cardigan is from an Australian one I had, so I decided to call it Matilda!
I made the pattern up for the leggings/tights, I am not sure whether they will work or not, I wanted them closer fitting so that they could be worn under a skirt or dress :-)
I will update this post with a picture of my niece wearing them when I see her next.
Only another 600grams of magenta wool left to go ...lol

Love and light, Sam

Hi
This is my first project on here!
I knitted these a few weeks back for my little niece Lahna who was born in Nov 08.
I haven't got a picture of her in them yet, but they fit perfectly :-)
