The last few months of school were so hectic I had almost no time to make anything new let alone hang out here but now that I am full into summer, I have spent tons of time making new pretty things to wear and give to my friends and family! Its so exciting to be beading and maille-ing again!
Anyway, here are two of my favorite recent creations:
a charm bracelet:

and a bright summer-y choker:


My cousin is getting married on August 1st and I have made myself a full set of jewelry to go with my new dress (its white with purple flowers on it, very cute and very me). I also made a necklace and earrings for my grandmother and an anklet for my mom so I will make sure to get lots of pictures to share!

In the meantime here is one of my kitty getting in the way while I try and take pictures using the lightbox on my balcony:


That's why I don't usually use the lightbox for quick photos, she just finds it way too interesting! lol

Finally got a shot of my earring display that I made a few weeks ago (it looks a bit sparse but I love the background fabric and wanted the pattern to show, I only wear these 4 fours and a couple kinds of stud-type earrings so it works for me)



And here is a close up of one pair of earrings I made.



The flower ones on the display (top-left) I also made but they refused to photograph well (even this one is kinda fuzzy) - I think I will have to take them off the display to get a good photo maybe. *shrug* Another time.

I also made myself another necklace in my seemingly endless search for a wide enough weave that it won't twist as I wear it and make the charm stick up weirdly. I am quite satisfied with this one tho I don't really know what it is, I just played around with some rings for awhile and ended up with this:



started as simple euro 4-in-1 and then i added the silver rings (which are held together at the back with tiny purple rings)

And lastly I have been trying to improve my wire working skills and made a couple purse charms. This is my favourite by far:

I only started making chainmaille jewelry about a month ago but it has sure kept me busy! Its so much fun and rewarding but my hands need a break so I decided to find my camera and get some feedback finally!

Some of them I am just so happy with I had to keep for myself (I can always make it again tho as I bought tons of rings from theringlord.com shortly after starting)

These three are mine: (the first one is a necklace, the second a choker and the third a bracelet)

This one has a charm I got from my Grandmother, the keys spell "I Love You" but my camera batteries were dying to I didn't have time to arrange them:

And one more necklace. Planning on closing it with a small lock at the back but I have not been able to find one I really like yet
