I got spoiled by karwash. I literally and loudly squealed with joy when I opened my package and saw this severed hand in a box from Un Chien Andalou.

Then, this lovely little collage of scenes from Roman Holiday was there to greet me.

But the best part is the two long sleeved shirts KarWash made me--

with a scene from The Umbrellas of Cherbourg:

and my absolute favorite: a mug shot of Dalton Trumbo (the genius who wrote the screenplay for Roman Holiday--and won an Oscar for it--while he was black listed from Hollywood in the McCarthy Era.)

There are ridiculous amounts of awesome papercrafty goodness in here!

POOSEL and prettyinpaisley sent me some pretty awesome stuff! I can't wait to use it to craft with.

POOSEL sent some awesome scrapbook paper--I love the skeleton print--and these unbelievably cool stickers and clear photo border thingies.

prettyinpaisely sent me all these awesome things, it's really hard to say which I like best--but the ATCs and the puzzle pieces are winners. I can't believe she sent me the awesome dancer surrounded by the brass band though. She was going to use it for her own sketchbook!

Thanks ladies! You should have both of your packages soon.

That octopus bookmark is the cutest!

I had lunch with Tero this afternoon at a local health food and sandwich/smoothie shop. It was absolutely delicious.
I totally forgot to bring my camera to take pictures of the meet-up, but took pictures of the bookmarks as soon as I got home.

She got my tastes totally perfect! (And even brought me some of the best ephemera for the Sketchbook Project!)

The hand-stamped card is one of the best I've ever seen. So many mushrooms! The bookmark with the little owl bead is my favorite. Owl Jolson, as he will now be lovingly referred to, is going in my copy of When You Catch an Adjective, Kill It. I also love the ichthus bookmark. It's going in my copy of What Not to Say: Philosophy for Life's Tricky Moments.

Thanks Tero! It was so fun finally getting to meet up with you. Next time I promise I won't leave my purse in your car and make you drive all the way back to where I live to get it to me.  Lips sealed Roll Eyes Kiss

I recieved both of my envies last week and finally have time to post! (I hate you summer classes!)

First I recieved this lovely envie from PepsiTwist with a lovely ENJOY penned on the back.
There are a ton of paper goodies in here (which is awesome. I handmake almost every card I give, so this will come in serious handy.) Also, the leaf collage is awesome. yzzilnoaj made me the big one pictured in my favorite projects last swap, so now I have a little one to go with it. (I love accent decor.)

Next I recieved this amazing necklace, card and pouch from Strawberryh. I was soooo spoiled. (Seriously, I wore it out that evening.)

This has been an awesome swap. Any word yet on what we should do if one or more of our partners has not recieved yet?

There are some awesome things in this gallery so far!  Shocked

I recieved from yzzilnoaj today, and every single last item was expertly crafted to my specific tastes, and came with a lovely note detailing how the crafty budget was spent.

This intricately beaded oil lamp is just lovely! I can't wait to get some fuel for it and use it for summer barbecue.

I can never get enough purses. This one is awesome. I already know what outfit I'm going to wear it with!

My favorite pick of the bunch is the wall art yzzilnoaj sent me is this tree made from recycled papers. She made one just like the one in my favorited projects! It's so awesome.

THANK YOU YZZILNOAJ!!!!

6  Re: Loaded Charm Bracelet Rnd. 2 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by PureOath on: May 27, 2010 07:48:05 PM

I received my lovely bracelet from Pure Oath yesterday.  I love the colors and especially the awesome toggle.  It's really pretty and definitely my style.  She also sent a matching pair of earrings and a cute book mark.  One of the beads on one of the earrings got broke in shipping but the bracelet is a smidge bigger than I usually wear so I have a plan to take a link out and use a bead from it to fix the earrings.  Thanks again Pure Oath you were a great swap partner!

Oh no! I have more beads from that lot if you need a pair of them to make matching earrings. Glad you liked it though.

Every single bracelet posted so far is absolutely amazing. The fruit, the tree of life, and the pink skull bracelet especially.

Blackstictches made me this amazing bracelet from my Wist. I was so very excited to open it up! It is absloutely breathtaking. It also fits like a dream, and I can't wait to get a nice sundress to wear it with this summer.

Thanks Blackstitches! I would have taken a photo of the lovely extra clippies you sent, but they're already in my hair. :X  Your bracelet will be mailed in the morning! I hope you like it as much as I love yours!

I love, love, love my teapotdnky made shrine. She is an amazing crafter and I got uberspoiled. Me and Shriney are already making wonderful Picard memories together to last for all time. Everything about it is amazing right down to the last intricate detail.

I am already wearing the Borg ring, and loved all the little notes that made opening everything up so much fun.

Especially this one:

9  OMGZ POEMS. in The Swap Gallery by PureOath on: April 12, 2010 04:48:57 PM
I'm glad you liked your package Liralen! Those white ones are also stones. All of the gemstones used in your necklace and earrings came from the same mix lot!

Gigglygirl sent me an amazing package. Everything inside it was so awesome.

The fabric she used for the T.S. Eliot purse and coin purse is awesome, and is representative of the Wasteland's dark theme and feel. ( I love damask.)

And this memory board is so awesome! It's got pictures of e.e. cummings' wife and artwork with some of my favorite poems.

I got spoiled!

I thought I'd post some teaser pics, mostly because it's fun to be done early for a change.  Lips sealed
