31  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / my first skirt (needed something nice for NYE) on: December 30, 2004 02:52:19 PM
I wanted something nice to wear for NYE but eveything was so expensive. I looked at some skirts and they were like $90!!! Shocked I figured they couldn't be that hard to make and it actually wasn't. Only took me about 3 hours (which for me is outstanding!!!)

(it's t-shirt material, my new obsession) Grin
32  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / my 1st pillow (please be gentle!!!) on: December 14, 2004 11:45:55 PM
I made this for my boyfriend for xmas, he is a bit of a fan of skull and crossbones and all his pillowcases are nasty!!! (he still has a very faded 'Beverly Hills 90210' one he uses)

(I don't know how else to add pics to my post, I hope this link works!!!)
33  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / more t-shirt material than you can poke a stick at!!! on: December 03, 2004 05:58:28 PM
Hi y'all,
Been lurking around for a bit and seeing as how there is so much fabulousness  here I thought I'd finally ask a question.
I just bought 12 metres of t-shirt material, it was $1 a metre(!), I just had to.
Anyhoo, now I'm not sure what I should do with it all. It is the start of summer here too so I need to think "cool"
Ideas? Grin
