OK, my friend has a bit of a fashion parade/show coming up, she is studying advanced custon dressmaking. Her theme for it all is "Love", she is stuck for music to set off all her hard work.
Then I had a brainwave, "Got a problem? Ask "craftster"!"
So, here I am, any ideas would be graciously accepted. I am no help at all my tastes in music are notoriously bad.
(I hope this the right place to ask this question )

I think there is only one other Tassie craftster (that I am aware of) but perhaps there are some not admitting to it? Any Tassies out there???

Birthday present for my b/f's sister (and my friend too). I tested the length on myself and discovered I have considerably shorter arms than her (they were intended to be full arm length) but still they turned out pretty good. It's still cold enough here to warrant wearing them all the time.

I spun the yarn myself and then made it into this hat, yay!

A friend of mine wanted me to make one for someones birthday present.
She bought the socks (3 pairs) gave me $20, drove out here to collect it and gave me a ride into the city. I was pretty happy with the deal. I am just all excited that someone actually paid me to make them something, woo hoo!

I spun the alpaca and then plyed it with some mohair yarn I already had, it's already well on it's way to being turned into a beanie for a birthday present.

I really hope you guys can help me, I have found one which is supposedly in really good condition ( I haven't seen it yet, it's about 3 hours drive away from me) for about $200 AUS. Is that a good price?
I truly have no idea and as it's not a small amount of money I want to be sure before I do anything.

My new mp3 player is tiny, not much bigger than a cigarette lighter and not much heavier. I wanted to make something to keep it safe in. I have also just joined a gym where they pump "Top 40 hits of the 90's" out at full volume and needed a way to take it with me and keep it out of my way. I made an armband for the cozy to attach to with a couple of press studs (this way I can wash the armband if it gets funky). I used it for the 1st time this morning and I got a few funny looks but at least I could happily listen to what I like in peace.
(it's not terrifically flash but it only took me a few hours last night)

Ok, I know that I can  just "google" pecan pie but I get so many come up and I have never made one before so I can't tell which ones are good or not. My b/f loves it apparently and it's his birthday in 2 weeks, so I am after the greatest pecan pie recipe ever.
Can anyone help me?

It is really cold here lately and hats don't really fit comfortably on my head (too much hair) so I made a kind of "ear cozy" to keep my ears nice and toasty warm that lets me put all my hair out the top.
Unfortunately my son tried it on and now won't surrender it, it's all good though, at least he likes the stuff I make and it only took me about 2 days to make.
