23  knitting project bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by twelvety on: February 12, 2006 04:51:16 AM
I lined it with a satin material so the yarn can slip out easily  Grin

And I put in a little side pocket for knitting needles.

I really hope it is OK, I am no knitter.  Grin

Yay! I recieved an awesome parcel from geetargeek.
She made me a great little coin purse with stars on it, sent me a ton of Kool Aid (huzzah, no more paying far too much buying it online, this much will last me for ages!), a candy flavoured lip gloss which I have been using almost constantly and some super cute buttons.

Aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn nd an awesome necklace with little skull and crossbones on it, bead bracelet, totally brilliant retractable tape measure and 2 sets of loteria cards, the full size ones and the mini ones.

I am so lucky, thank you so much Queta, you won the postal service race, yours got here 1st Wink

Anyways, I got my last swap package today (boo, I want more!) from cyndiq.
I got all this treasure, the crochet hook case/holder has my name embroidered on it which is a little wacky but great, I just forget my name is Emma.
And the star ornament matches my crappy star tattoo, woo!( the ornament is lovely, it's my tattoo that is crappy, before anyone takes that the wrong way)

Yay, new home for my crochet hooks, they have been lving in a sock Roll Eyes
They look a lot happier now  Wink

and she sent a little present for my son too.

He is pretty much in love with the washer with his name on it, he just took it with him for a nap.

29  Re: Crochet Miffy in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by twelvety on: November 26, 2005 02:58:17 AM
So I made the mistake of  actually mentioning out loud that I might make a Miffy for my son for Xmas and then I had to endure about 3 1/2 hours of "Mummy, make me a Miffy please, Mummy make me a Miffy please, MUMMY make me a MIFFY PLEASE!!! etc"
I cracked and knocked one up, she is a bit rough and ready and I am not entirely happy with her but Jordan loved her.
Thank you so much Moniebo for making one, it reminded me that I love Miffy too and it got me motivated Smiley

He wouldn't put her down. Wink

WOO HOO!!! Shocked
I heard the postie and was just about to run down the front and push him off his bike in frustration when (luckily for him Wink) he put a parcel in the letter box.
Jelly spoiled me, she sent me a lovely denim and lace bag, a snakeskin makeup pouch, a snakeskin case for my poor glasses (no more living in an old sock for my specs), some chocolate (which Jordan and I are eating right now), a cd of tunes to sew by, a wacky pamphlet so I can learn to speak maori, a "Betty Boop" pin AND a fabulous big piece of the snakeskin. Yeh, red snakeskin! Grin
I think that is everything, I am lucky.

(Jordan wouldn't leave the chocolate alone and ended up in the shot)
