I could have sworn I posted here but I can't find it now so I guess not.
Violet, I did receive a few days ago and your package is GREATSUPERBAWESOMETERRIFIC I don't even know how to describe it. It just IS. I love everything in it. I'll post pictures when I get a chance, but if you have them, go for it!
My friend and I are hosting a surprise going away party for our friend who will be going abroad for next year's school year. We've invited about 30+ people. The party will be at my house, and we're going to get cake and have a bonfire and make s'mores and perhaps barbecue. Any other suggestions of how to keep these 30 or so 17 year old girls entertained from 3:00 until "whenever" (thanks to my friend who put that on the invite!)?
I used a kind of canvas fabric (like that of a tote bag). I know people who have made them out of denim or of cotton stuffed like pillows just a verrrrry little bit. But canvas seems the easiest to find and the most durable. Plus you can paint it and decorate it pretty. My stick bag is so much prettier than all the boys'.
My drumstick bag is pretty simple. It's basically a piece of fabric folded like a book with a zipper that goes around (kind of like a zip up binder). Then there are just a pocket for drumsticks on each side and a handle on the outside. I know people who have really complex stick bags but I don't see the point...
