6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / barbed wire bracelet on: May 20, 2010 11:29:33 AM
i was browsing the net when i stumbled at jewelrylessons.com and was so inspired by the amazing talents of the designers there! one particular design really caught my attention because i love getting inspirations from ordinary things. and it was a barbed wire bracelet by tangocatgems.it was made of brass (i think) i really love the oxidized finish of it. unlucky me i am using an aluminum wire and don't know how to oxidize it or does it even oxidizes? Grin
so here's my version of it Grin hope you like it

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Backless Vest on: September 06, 2009 11:22:38 AM
I have a this nice scarf but wasn't able to use.I like it so much that i want to put into use.And had this idea..

this is my inspiration:

and this is what i came up with:

Here's a tutorial:This is my very first diy clothing tutorial, so pls bear with me!

what you need:

Fabric is a yard long or as long as your stretched arms and is 8 1/2" wide
Chain is approximately 12" long.

Cut a strip from your fabric.

Fold your fabric in half to determine the center .Then tie the center with the strip of fabric.

Wear you your unfinished vest to measure where you want to put your chain.mark it.

Attach your chain on one of the marked spots.

Wear it again to check how snug you want your chain to be.

Attach the other of the chain to the other marked spot.

here's how it looks.

I hope you like it. Cheesy
