11  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Purple, Teal, and Grey Round Baby Blanket on: October 09, 2014 08:00:52 PM
I made this Flower Ripple Blanket for a friend who is pregnant. You can find the free pattern on Ravelry here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/free-smoothfoxs-flower-round-ripple-12-point

I was trying to use up yarn odds and ends that I happened to have left over from other projects, so I didn't follow the color changes used in the pattern.

12  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Bunny Lovey x 3 on: October 09, 2014 07:55:17 PM
Three of my friends who all go to Knit Night at the local yarn shop were all pregnant. So I decided to make them each the same thing, but in different colors. While searching around, I found this cute pattern for a Bunny Lovey at The Stitchin' Mommy.

Here are my versions:

13  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crochet Flower Coasters on: October 09, 2014 07:49:17 PM
I recently went on a kick where I only made things, if I already had the materials on hand. I have quite a bit of cotton yarn, so I met a set of flower coasters. You can find the pattern on One Dog Woof.

14  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Simple Patchwork Baby Quilt on: October 09, 2014 07:44:16 PM
A friend of mine just had a baby boy, and I thought she might appreciate a quilt.  I didn't want to have to buy anything, so I pulled out all my scraps and went with a simple patchwork.

I didn't have any fabric quite big enough for the backing, so it got some borders from other fabric as well.

16  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 101 ENTRIES / Black Aqua and Teal Flower Bracelet on: August 10, 2014 01:44:37 PM

My sister's birthday is tomorrow and I wanted to get her a gift, but was short on money. So I went through my stash of jewelry supplies and came up with this bracelet.

It took me longer than I thought it would because I kept rearranging the colors. I'm pleased with the final result though, so it was worth the extra time.

Here is a close up so you can see the colors better.

17  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Yarn Ball Earrings on: July 17, 2014 08:21:55 PM
I made these earrings for my partner in the What I Am Best at Swap.  They are made from a button and embroidery floss. I used this tutorial for yarn ball buttons and just glued on earring posts.

18  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Unicorn Macaroon Purse on: July 17, 2014 08:17:04 PM
I made this Unicorn Macaroon Purse for my partner in the What I Am Best at Swap.

I used this tutorial at Craft Passion. It was a lot of hand sewing. You were supposed to sew the inside lining in as well, but I was tired of sewing, so I glued it in.

For the unicorn, I found a free coloring page online, and edited and then shrunk it. Then I embroidered it on some fabric before cutting out the purse pattern. I've never embroidered something that small before and it was kind of tricky, but I think it turned out well.
19  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Unicorn on: July 17, 2014 08:11:10 PM
I made this Unicorn Ami for my partner in the What I Am Best At Swap Round 2. She named her Swirly. If you want to make your own it is the The Adorable Unicorn Crochet Pattern by MelissasPatterns on etsy.

The pattern has nostrils, but I chose to omit them.
20  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Star Afghan on: July 17, 2014 08:05:20 PM
My sister-in-law is having a boy in December, so I made this little star afghan for him.

It's a little smaller than I would normally do, but I was working with yarn from my stash, and didn't want to go buy anymore. Also, it is such a weird shape that I figured it is more a blanket you would lay on the floor and then lay the baby on rather than wrap them up in it.

I found the pattern for free on Ravelry. You can find it here.
