51  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Vintage Sundress on: April 06, 2016 01:37:20 PM
I noticed that my daughters dresses were getting too short. Unfortunately, most of the dresses in the store are shorter than I would like as well. Especially since she hasn't mastered the art of sitting like a lady in dresses yet.

So the only thing I could do was maker her a dress. I made this back in February from The Vintage Sundress Pattern by Simple Simon and Company. It has since gotten hot, so we are going to need to find a short sleeve shirt to wear under it.

52  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: 2016 QuiltAlong, now with prizes! on: April 05, 2016 05:52:54 PM
April 4 Check In

Oops. I got absolutely nothing done in the quilting department. I got other projects done (which I need to take pictures of and post here in the forum) but no quilts. My plan is to finish my daughters quilt and give it to her for her birthday on the 18th. Hopefully with the deadline looming I will get it done.

It's great because I was able to try out crayon tinting. And my children liked it so much, they all want to make a hoopla of their own now.

Once again your talent with miniatures amazes me. I especially love the wallpaper choice in your diner.
