Details of swap:

There have been several scavenger hunts in the past but we’re going to do things a little bit different this time around. Each participant will suggest 1-2 items or themes (feel free to suggest more if you like). Example: You can suggest a specific item such as a 5x5 square of fabric, or something broader and more open to interpretation like something green. Then I will go through and select 8 that I think are the most unusual, neat, etc. but still easily craftable. When you are assigned your partners you will also receive this list (which will be a mixture of the options shown above.)

You will need to send an item for everything on the list. That means you will be sending 8 things. 4 of the 8 must be crafted, the other 4 may be store bought. One of the crafted items should be a medium everything else can be smalls. Remember that everything in the list is open to interpretation even the specific item (it could simply inspire your item not necessarily have to be a part of it). If the way you used the item is not completely obvious include a note explaining it. However, let’s keep things plausible.  Also, please don’t split up a pair of things that you would never use just one of and send it in for two different options.
Please PM your partner and the organizer when you send out your package and when you receive it.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:

Your real name
Mailing address including the country
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?

            2.

Please list any aversions or allergies (smoke, pets, etc.):
Please list your pets here and/or if you live w/ an indoor smoker:

Any crafts you particularly admire (ie, sewing, knitting...):
Any crafts  you really aren't into:

What are your top 5 favorite colors:
What are your favorite color combos:
What colors and/or color combos do you hate:
Favorite Sweets or treats:
What are your favorite animals:
Describe your personal style.
Describe your decorating style.
What other hobbies or pastimes do you do besides crafting?
Do you collect anything? What?
What are your five favorite things?
Do you have an online wish list? What is it?
Any lifestyle choices that may affect what you would or would not like to receive?

Any thing else you'd like your partner to know about you?

Don't forget that when you send you need to pm me and your partner with a DC#. If you are not in the U.S. keep your mailing receipt.

Yeah we can drop it down to 8 items. We could say 4 crafted with one being a medium and 4 bought. Or 5 crafted all being smalls and 3 bought. Of course you don't have to buy anything but that is an option that is open to you.

That's ok it took me a second to read the dates right as well.

By Craft Zone we meant that if you are a science geek would you be okay with crafting for a video game lover or visa versa. We'll try to pair up people based on their likes but if we ended up with some odd numbers we wanted to know if people would be fine crafting for someone with different likes than them.

Here are my thoughts:

Details of swap:

There have been several scavenger hunts in the past but were going to do things a little bit different this time around. Each participant will suggest 1-2 items or themes. Example: You can suggest a specific item such as a 5x5 square of fabric, or something broader and more open to interpretation like something green. Then I will go through and select 10 that I think are the most unusual, neat, etc. but still easily craftable. When you are assigned your partners you will also receive this list (which will be a mixture of the options shown above.)

You will need to send an item for everything on the list. That means you will be sending 10 things. 6 of the 10 must be crafted, the other 4 may be store bought. 1 of the crafted items should be a medium everything else can be smalls. Remember that everything in the list is open to interpretation even the specific item (it could simply inspire your item not necessarily have to be a part of it). If the way you used the item is not completely obvious include a note explaining it. However, lets keep things plausible.  Also, please dont split up a pair of things that you would never use just one of and send it in for two different options.

I know a lot would like to push this back, but I can't push it too far back. If it goes into July or even possibly the very end of June I may not be able to do it. My husband is moving to Idaho for July and August and instead of staying home by myself those 2 months I'll be going to visit my parents. Which unfortunatly means I'll be entering an internet dead zone. So it works better for me to have it a little earlier.

As always please let me know your thoughts on this.
