Mine: I got the pocket for the laptop general idea from the sew mama sew link and the rest of the bag from the J Caroline link. I changed it to be more messenger style as far as strap goes cause I gotta have a long strap and then I added the laptop pocket from the first link. If I did it again, I'd do it differently. I am not so sure I'll ever make it again. It was hard. But end results are great.

All fabric was in my stash but I know I did spend money at some point. I used fleece from my stash as a cushion for the laptop pocket instead of foam like the tutorial. Blue fabric was free, flower fabric was .99 at Goodwill and I only used half (approx .50), and the fleece was 2.29 and I used a 3rd of it (so approx .75). The black was a scrap from a christmas gift project but it was so miniscule I won't count it. Velcro from was also from what I already owned. (approximately 1.25 for the fabric)
I went to Jo-Anns to get foam (.99), stabilizer (3.59), strap is belt webbing (3.92 with 40% off coupon), thread (1.79), and bias tape (1.99). I also had a 25% off entire purchase coupon. :pom: So I spent 9.21
So this bag cost me approximately 10.41 cents. Can't get better than that! I was wondering how much I ended up spending, this was so worth it cost wise. Frustration wise? Well, you couldn't pay me to make another one.
