11  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Another T-Shirt Quilt on: February 17, 2010 07:50:37 PM
I know this is nothing new but it's my first quilt and I'm super proud of it. I used some cheap polar fleece blankets from Wal Mart as backing. I was so set on finishing this project I was up till 6 in the morning finishing (I started at 7ish).

12  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Mustache Pillows on: February 12, 2010 11:33:57 PM
Once again a product of my excess free time. I had some old pillows lying around so i re stuffed them and I thought I'd make an homage to different kinds of mustaches.  Thought they were kind of fun, lemme know what you think

13  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / 8-bit Mario Rug on: February 11, 2010 02:23:23 AM
I was super inspired by PeaceLovesBrains flying/raccoon mario rug but I had no idea how to crochet. So after some trial and error and learning from youtube videos, I (reasonably) mastered the creation of granny squares. So after countless hours of crocheting in front of Seasons 3 & 4 of Dr. Who I created this awesome rug.  Grin

14  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Revamp AE Skimmers to Something Nerdworthy on: February 06, 2010 10:12:08 PM
I had this pair of AE skimmers that i never wore and decided i wanted to make them into Zelda detailed shoes.  I did a green base coat then I painted triforces (?), fairies, ocarinas, health hearts, swords and shields on them with silver paint. I still have to water proof them but still I'm super happy with them especially cause I'm not much of an artist. Lemme know what you think  Cheesy
