What dates do you guys suggest?
13  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Harry Potter & The Dark Mark on: November 17, 2010 04:35:07 PM
I made this for my partner in the Deathly Hallows swap and we are both PURE BLOOD SLYTHERINS

Its a totebag with the the dark mark embroidered. It was a pain in my royal A$$ cos of the material of the bag it was hard to push the needle through and it bent my needle and it almost broke off.
The satin stitch was a bit difficult too cos of the shape of the design.
I will do this again for myself cos I love the way it looks and it will get a stronger needle and use a different fill stitch.
Sorry for the crappy pics and the one strand of hair getting in the way

C&C welcomed!

14  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / NSFW Subversive Cross Stitch on: November 17, 2010 03:49:00 PM
I wanted to try my hand at some subversive XStitching and I found this while googling for free cross stitch pictures. It its my first but it wont be my last. It is also the first time I have tried to hide the back of my work.
I used 14count Aida and 2 strands of floss. I sent this to one of my swap partners on Ravelry.

C&C weldomed!

15  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Sorceress Edea FInal fantasy 7 on: November 17, 2010 03:43:16 PM
I made this for my partner Crafty_October for the embroidery Hoopla round 2, its Sorceress Edea from the video game Final Fantasy 7. I found the picture in a book my husband had and it had a ton of colors but since I am not that experience in crayon tinting, I decided to just do her as if it was a portrait. I am really happy the way she came out.

C&C are always welcomed!

I know there was a post on Long Island Craftsters but no one ever replied to me from that post , so I decided to start a new one. I Crochet and I Knit, and I want to meet with other gals who are also into needle work. I am in Nassau county (Seaford), and to be honest I get bored and lonely since I haven't been in Long Island long. i am willing to meet any day of the week cos I basically have no life.

I sorta sound desperate here but I am not (well maybe a lil) I love music and films too.

Anyone can contact me so don't be afraid.
