21  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Full moon necklace on: July 02, 2009 03:01:09 AM
Hi Folks!

This is my first try in making jewelery. I did this necklace yesterday evening and I'm pretty happy with it. I named it "Full Moon" because the shell reminds me of a full moon in a blue summer night. The beads are glass.
Hope you like it!  Smiley

22  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / wild, wild water (lots of pics..) on: May 29, 2009 07:55:01 AM
I'm not sure if this is really the right place to post this, but I couldn't find a better one.. So, hope you like it!

I'm not very used to photography, but I was in the mood to play a little with my old camera. I tried to catch the wildness of those waterfalls. They are close to where my bf's parents live.

And this is the lovely place, where those wild, wild waters live....

23  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / shiny wall decoration for my craft room on: May 08, 2009 05:00:27 AM
In my new craft room wasone empty wall. Because of the door situation, I couldn't place a shelf in front of it, which didn't make me happier with the situation. After some meditation, I decided to create a new light-element.

Well, and that's the result:

I made this small bag to carry my handsewing stuff with me where ever I go.
It's made of red wool, lined with blue linen and of course completely handmade. I love the tassels!

25  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / new notebook on: May 05, 2009 12:17:05 PM
I'm not sure if that's the right place to post this project, but I couldn't find a better one..

I bought a new notebook some days ago. Just a very small one that I can carry with me all the time, so I can make notes when a new idea catches me.
It was just a boring, fabric covered book, so I decided to pimp it up a little bit.  Cool

26  COOKING / Dessert / Easter cake on: April 13, 2009 05:03:43 AM
Hi @ all!

I use to make this Easter cake every year. So it became kind of a tradition.  Smiley It's made of yeast dough, filled with almonds, dried apricots, cranberries, rose hip jam, a little sugar, cream and rum flavour. It's really yummy, it tastes a little sweet and sour at the same time. It's also pretty good with butter for breakfast.

28  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / What to do if you've got a terrible mess in your thread drawer... on: April 06, 2009 08:15:04 AM
what a reason to make a new thread box!  Grin

I'm sure you all know that: You just want to sew a little something and you need this special red thread but you can't find it! And if you have found it, it takes you hours to separate it from the other 8471340 threads you have in your drawer...

In order to solve that problem, I bought an ordinary wooden box. I found it in a kitchen shop. It was thought to put silverware in it.
I painted it in a light blue, then put the polka-dot paper in (I LOVE polka dots!  Grin ), glued the ribbon and the stickers on it and finished with a crystal lacquer.

Et voil:

To make thisone I used one sweet pineapple, two oranges, two kiwis, two apples, one tbs. brown sugar and.. that's the big secret.. a little cinnamon powder.
