Finally, here we are with the pics of all the cool stuff I got from our lovely organiser, psyche. She made me a 50's/retro themed package and I LOVE everything! I matches my kitchen perfectly!

A potholder with a nice pinup lady, cup cozy made of a recycled sweater and a really cool magnet
closeup of the magnet:

I love the quote! Hilarious!

And she made me this super awesome retro apron:

Isn't it just adorable?! It's still a bit too small for me. But I'm working on loosing weight and it might encourage me to go on because I want that apron to fit! Wink
Everything I got is straight from my wists! Cheesy
Thank you so much, Jess! This swap was so much fun and you were an awesome organiser! Kiss

Wow, great packages! I love the owl mug cozy!

I received today!!! Cheesy Thank you bedheadchic! Pics come later

Here we are with my awesome package from bedheadchic:

The worn accessories are a turban style headband and a scarflet, both made of really soft chunky wool

The hot drink accessories to customize my drinks: Lavender and vanilla sugar (they smell heavenly!) and chai spiced milk which is soooo good! I could bath in this stuff, really! I'm afraid I have to beg for the recipe! Grin

And the drinks: I got bournville cocoa (yumm! And it's fairtrade, too!!), rose scented black tea, orange blossom earl grey, hot chocolate in sachets in many yummy flavours (Belgian choc, outrageous orange, jazzy ginger and mint madness.. Roll Eyes ),hot chocolate on a stick and Starbucks VIA Ready Brew Colombia and Italian roast. These could become very handy, I think... Because the coffee we get at university is.. well.. you know, caffeteria coffee...

Thank you so much, Charlotte!  Kiss This swap was so much fun and you've been a great partner! Kiss

10  Re: Fiber Friday (Saturday?) 10.08.10 in Spinning: Completed Projects by morrigan_le_faye on: October 09, 2010 03:15:31 AM
Here's what I made this week!
I bought some wonderful fibers at wildhare fiber studio on etsy and this is the result

Still on the bobine

Detail

Unforetunately, the camera refuses to show the colours properly.. Angry It'a nice blend of different shades of green, mixed up with a tiny little bit of brown. Fibers are Bluefaced Leicester Wool, which is very nice to spin.
The roving was called "Irish Eyes" and I think I'll keep that name for the yarn, too, because I really like it. Smiley
