82  Purple people eater in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by SAHMama on: February 08, 2009 08:26:30 PM
I made this purple people eater hooded towel (inspired by: http://hsitarzewski.blogspot.com/2008/09/monster-hooded-towel.html & http://infarrantlycreative.blogspot.com/2008/02/kids-hooded-towel-tutorial.html) for my friend's daughter's 1st birthday. (Unfortunately it is big enough to fit me - oops!)

83  My first complete outfit! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by SAHMama on: January 24, 2009 04:10:39 PM
I made this as a gift for my friend's daughter's first birthday. Not perfect, but I know what mistakes I made so I think I could do better next time.
I used these tutorials, although not exactly:

84  For all the Obama Mamas... in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by SAHMama on: January 22, 2009 08:19:11 PM
I tried to post this on Tuesday, but had problems uploading the picture. This is a shirt I appliqued for my 1-year-old to wear to an inauguration playdate. I wanted to make him something to commemorate the history day!

85  My first twirly skirt in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by SAHMama on: January 13, 2009 10:54:43 AM
This is my first "completed project" post!
I'm a novice sewer; just got my sewing machine for Christmas. This is my first attempt at a twirly skirt, made for my friend's daughter's first birthday. I used this tutorial:
http://goingsewcrazy.typepad.com/my_weblog/2007/08/twirly-skirts-a.html
I was really confused about the second part of the tutorial & my mom (a more experienced sewer) couldn't make much sense of it either so I kinda winged it from there (basically the waist portion).
Any feedback is appreciated!
