This is the ornament that I finished today.  Wanted to see how long it took me start to finish (the answer was 3.5 hours).

HERE is the link to 9 more hoops I've made and given away to friends and family for Christmas this year.  Cheesy

Merry Christmas everyone!

22  Doodle Stitched Christmas Ornaments in Needlework: Completed Projects by Ffrogg526 on: December 25, 2013 06:14:54 AM
I had a brainstorm over Thanksgiving and found myself on the hunt for 3" hoops!  Cheesy  I already had the off white sparkly fabric from another project so I started out using that.  I found  THIS on Pinterest and took my inspiration from it.  I really hope she doesn't mind.   Roll Eyes

Everyone I've given them to absolutely loves their ornament!  Here's hoping that my future in-laws feel the same.  I had Christmas with Z yesterday so I don't get to see the future in-laws reaction.

Here are 9 of the hoops I made.

Questions and comments are welcome!  Thanks for taking a look!

Most recent finished project!  Its for Z for Christmas!

One of our neighbors has a light up flying pig on their front porch.  Z loves it!  Doesn't want one that lights up but he loves it.  So I decided to make one for him for Christmas!  Cheesy

I couldn't wait any longer!  My crafter was the ghoulish happylittleclam!  She had a hard time crafting for me because I didn't list anything that was her specialty!  But she did an ghoulish job!  I eat my goodies!

This is inspired by my Pinterest board "Etsy Wants".  Its a tree of life earring holder.  And let's be honest, its so pretty it may never hold earrings!  It may just look pretty on my wall!  Cheesy

I eat earrings. It might even be said I have an obsession!  She made me more holiday earrings!  The dark triangles are Christmas trees.  I couldn't get a good picture of them.  I think the stockings are my favorite.  Smiley

Thank you so much!  I eat my goodies!  Merry Christmas everyone!

PROJECT DUMP!  I haven't posted in quite a while so here are several projects that have been done recently!

This is the first Summer eat Wrap that I made for a friend who was in need of some comfort.

This is the embroidered Hamsa hand that I did for Z's birthday!  (in July...  no - not late at all!)

Z's old man sweater!  This sweater has been in the works for 2.5 years!  Its the first sweater I've ever made that fit!  And he loves it!  The very nice lady at my LYS helping me with the construction said I was a saint for making it in black.  lol  It didn't bother me to work with black.  The only thing that bothers me a bit is the pulling around the buttons.  It shouldn't gap like that.  But Z keeps telling me that its perfect and I should shut up and stop obsessing.  lol  Cheesy   Roll Eyes

Up close shot of the second Summer eat Wrap I made for myself.  This one will work quite well with my Renaissance Festival costume.

I have one more project to post a picture of but I don't think my partner has opened her Secret Santa package yet.  Cheesy  I'll post it as soon as she opens her package!

Bookshelf and fireplace.  And of course a couple of pumpkins!

Books, burlap, scrolls, crystal ball, glasses, all the things needed for spell casting.

The broom is parked in the corner!

Thread for finishing spells.

Miniature tea set - she's got to have something to help her stay up writing spells!

Questions and comments welcome!  Cheesy

Here's my fabulous package from GlassKicker!

My Halloween theme - RAAR grr ugggh bag!  I have a pile of stuff that I need to take back to school tomorrow and despite that its not October yet, I'll be using my Halloween bag!  Cheesy

Straight from my Pinterest - since March I've gotten really into practicing yoga.  It makes me feel better, helps me focus, helps even out my horrid mood swings a smidge.  And GlassKicker made me (bought me? either way!) this wonderful necklace that says Eat Pray eat.

Celtic, green and brown glass earrings!  So pretty!  They're inspired by something on my Pinterest.

She knows I'm a yarnie so she bought me some handspun yarn!  The color is called Blackberry.  Its a beautiful deep plumy-purple color.  I eat it!

In taking pictures - I had help.  The dog says hi! and scratch my tummy.

And this last piece is simply fabulous!  A GORGEOUS glass plate!  I have to find somewhere to display it!

I know you were embarrassed about messaging everyone (including me) but its all good!  I'm super thrilled you were my stalker (who would ever think as a woman you'd say that?) and my package is RAAR grr ugggh!

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!
