I listened to some of those talking pages this weekend!  Cheesy

In case you can't read it, it says "Divine Wisdom guides me and helps to unlock the amazing person buried beneath my skin.  And helps give me wings to fly above and away from all the insanity of life."

"I wish to become the mist between the trees".  I wish I had used some more burgundy on the left page or some more white on the right page but I really am happy with it.  Its rather amazing what can inspire you...  I was looking at my bottle of bath and body works shower gel (Twilight Woods) when the idea for these pages struck me.

162  Re: For the love of Faeries swap sign up Feb 2-12th and sendouts March 29th in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Ffrogg526 on: February 06, 2010 09:15:27 PM

I got this on my second date with my fiancee.   Cheesy  We've been together for four and a half years now.  He said that I'd never get it...  that I'd chicken out (he has 3 that are all black).  I had to prove him wrong didn't I???  As I'm looking at this picture I'm realizing that the frog looks kind of pissed off or evil...  Haven't noticed that in the last 4 and a half years but...  now I have.  lol.  He's not supposed to be an evil frog.  Cheesy

I'm still thinking about this swap...  For the love of all things fairie I really should join...  I just don't want to find myself stressing out and sending a half-a$$ed package.  Undecided

Here's my package from curiousfae!  Thanks for all the awesome stuff!  I really would never have thought of keeping cancelled stamps...  I love everything!  And this "Happily Ever After" stack of paper is wonderful!  I've been oogling it at Michael's forever!

The origami paper is BEAUTIFUL!  Its still in the package in these pictures.

There's the whole sha-bang!  Lots of papers, stickers, bits and bobs, a wooden window frame (possibly my favorite thing in the package).

Thanks again curiousfae!!!   Grin

I'm finally posting!  Sorry - this post may be a little pic heavy.

Like I said - sorry its a bit pic heavy.  There are a few pages sitting in this book that are painted but not finished.  And I feel like the Simply Gorgeous page isn't quite finished.  Not sure what it needs but it needs something.

165  Ocean Sunrise Scoodie in Crochet: Completed Projects by Ffrogg526 on: January 31, 2010 07:23:56 PM
Before Christmas I was walking through Target with a friend of mine when she saw a scoodie and ran to try it one and said how much she wanted one.  DING DING DING!  Christmas present opportunity!  After that I let it rest for a week or so and asked her what her favorite colors were.  She likes oceans and sunrises/sunsets.  So with that in mind - this is an Ocean Sunrise Scoodie that she wouldn't even take off long enough for me to get pictures of.

In action!

From the back - the giant tassel helps it not look so much like a pointy elf hat.

The goofiness continues...   Cheesy

All the colors from top of the head to the bottom of the scoodie.  I didn't realize how much of a pattern the varigated yarn was making when I was adding it to the scarf.

For the pattern I just used the hooded scarf pattern from Lion Brand's website and altered it so that I worked it shortways instead of longways.  Shortly after I gave this one as the Christmas present I had two more ladies at school order one and they're actually paying me for it!   Shocked  Huzzah!   Cheesy

166  Re: WWP Yule Swap Round 16 - Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Ffrogg526 on: December 23, 2009 02:34:44 PM
I received from Sullengal!!!  Cheesy  Grin  This really is a most wonderful package!  Thanks so much for all this rockin' crafty goodness!

hawkeyes_girl - I feel your pain.  My principal and my assistant principal are still in shock (after four years of working for them) that I don't go to church on Sunday mornings.  I'm afraid if I say anything to them even hinting towards pagans they'll go nuts and think I need saving, etc. etc. etc.

This is the whole package.
 - Tree of Life painting.  I didn't realize that it was across the bottom of the canvas until I took this picture.
 - 2 soaps made in celtic knot molds.
 - A most wonderful bronze Oak and Acorn necklace
 - Knitting earrings!
 - Orange-clove oil.  We should totally have smell-o-screens on our computers!  This oil and the soaps smell WONDERFUL!  It has a grapeseed oil base with orange and clove essential oils.

These soaps are amazing!  They're made from glycerin, avocado oil, shea butter, lemon and sage essential oils.  Man do they smell yummy!  I can't wait to use them!

Sorry itsa crappy picture.  Undecided  But these earrings rock!  I love them!  And they're green!  The most wonderful color in the world (other than purple).  Grin

Better picture of the tree of life canvas.  I have to find a happy place to put this on my wall.  Grin

I got my package from Elizabethmae!!   Grin  I love it!  Here are the pics!

A most wonderful six-legged octopus!  He's adorable!   Grin

A lovely stitched squirrel.  She's realy cute.  Sorry the picture is dark - the flash made everything REALLY bright.

A wonderful purple hat!  Yeah - its actually on my head when I'm taking the picture...  I'm not sure if that's talent or pure dumb luck.  I do love the hat though.   Grin

Thank you so much elizabethmae!!  It Rocks!

169  Re: Samhain/Halloween WWP Round 15 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Ffrogg526 on: November 25, 2009 05:59:15 PM
FINALLY!  ITS HERE!!!  This is the forgotten part of my Samhain package.

That's it.  The magnet cracked and I need to glue it back together.  The necklace may become a rearview mirror hangy thing because its really heavy and hot on my skin.  We'll see what happens.

Even though I can't join this swap (waaaaaaay to busy outside of Craftster for another swap) I thought I'd stop by and post pictures of my most beloved puppies.

These are Mandy (black and tan) Angie (middle dog) and Fancy (big dog).  They're all rescue dogs.  Angie (middle dog) is the only pure bred puppy we have an she came from project halo via a puppy mill.  The little puppy (Mandy) was abused and we got her from project halo as well.  Fancy (big dog) was abandoned in PetSmart and we got a phone call from a friend of ours who said "I think she's part dachshund?" and she's the sweetest puppy you'd ever want to meet.

I can't wait to see this gallery!  Its going to be awesome!
