My Tree of Life Pendant!

I'm not sure I like the chain I put it on but its what I had at home and I wanted to wear it to work today!   Cheesy

Amethyst, green adventurine and peridot.  I love it!  I'm working with Phoenix to possibly order some coordinating earrings to go with it.   Cheesy

I am SOOOOOO sorry I haven't posted before now!!   Shocked  Here's most of the awesome goodies Jeannebaby sent me!  The only one note posted is the bodice because I haven't gotten new cord for it yet.   Undecided

My friend snapped this picture while I was messing with my hair but I kinda like it so here ya go...  this has the green skirt and the chemise Jeannebaby sent me!  I love them!  And this is the chemise unhemmed...  she left it that way so I could get it to my prefered length (the joys of being tall).  The skirt is tucked up into my bodice so you don't see chemise between the bodice and skirt.  Please forgive that its not tucked up there perfectly.   Undecided

I used my own bodice for the time being...  the one she sent me needs a little tiny bit of work to fit juuuuuust right.  But its a beautiful light gold, dark gold, green and burgundy!  I love it!

Onto the jewelry...  HOLY CRAP THE JEWELRY!

(the one on the right is green...  I swear!)

Red and black shell earrings...  I was hurrying to get pictures so I didn't take them out of the bags...  I love them though!  I have a green pair that's very similar to them.

These are purse pulls but...  I have a hair twisty thing (VERY technical terms we're using here!) that you can attach things like this to the bottom of and I think the shorter ones may work for that.  So I may use them in my hair instead of a purse.

Thanks so much Jeannebaby!!!  Everything you made is amazing and over the top!  I'm still working on your last goodie that I have to mail soon.  I'm so sorry its taking me this long!  I really hope you find it to be worth the wait!  Thanks again for spoiling me so hugely!   Grin

Prepare your wisting fingers!  The goodies I got from MadGypsy are soooo amazing!

The pots are paper with flower seeds in them!  That would be amazing to know how to make...  like I REALLY need another craft to do.  Smiley

An absolutely amazing fairy door!

This seems to be a rather unassuming box...  it says "a touch of magic" and has a fairy above that but then...  you open it and find.....

This BEAUTIFUL pendant directly from my wist! I love it!  I have to find some cord to put it on so I can wear it to the Renaissance Festival in Atlanta at the end of May.

This is amazing!  I love it!  I just need to find a great picture to put in it!  maybe a fairy sighting...   Wink

Fairy wings for my hair!  These are amazing!  I love them!

This is a fairy bookmark!  Really beautiful!  But I have a few bookmarks that I use that have sentimental value...  so more than likely she'll become a plant guardian...  As you see here, she's taken to the herbs already.

Finally, she sent me Minuet

She is the most beautiful music fairy!

She told MadGypsy that she wanted a new home...  her home in the fairy ring was nice and she would miss her friends but she needed a kindred music soul.  So she came to live with me!  I would take her to school to keep watch over the music room but I'm very afraid that my students would inadvertantly break her that would be very sad.  So she'll keep watch over my space at home.

As you can see, she bares her treble clef for all to see!

I love her hair!  Its a touch darker than my own but beautiful and she has ribbons in it!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you MadGypsy!!!  This package is AMAZING!

164  Re: Farmer's Market Swap 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Ffrogg526 on: April 24, 2010 07:31:16 AM
OK - this kind of very loosely farmer's market related but I thought the ladies in here would appreciate this picture!  Its kind of blurry and I apologize for that!  We aren't the best gardeners in the world, but we finally got around the planting our topsy turvys this year...  we had one that we couldn't plant in because Mama Bird was building a nest in it (they got left up all winter  Roll Eyes) and we thought that maybe she was building several nests and going to pick one that wasn't in our topsy turvy...  we were wrong!  We've had baby birds living in our topsy turvy for several weeks now!  And I got home from work yesterday and they were sitting on the edge of the topsy turvy!  So here's a picture of our baby birds exploring their territory!  Whenever we're sure they're gone, we're going to clean out the planter and plant something in it to go with our tomatoes and peppers that are already planted.  I just wanted to share the cuteness that's been living on our deck!

165  Re: Magic Yarn Ball Swap Round 13 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Ffrogg526 on: April 24, 2010 07:25:26 AM
I"m FINALLY finding a morning to post pictures of my swap goodies!  Sorry it took so long!   Undecided  Sarahj send me a HUGE yarnball!  So here are tons of pictures of all the goodies inside!  She picked two of my themes (music and chocolate) and then sent lots of crafty goodies with those two themes!

The two massive balls of yarn I rolled as I was unwinding this yarnball!  Black really is such a useful color isn't it?

She sent me TWO patterns!  These are patterns from one of my Ravelry lists!

The 6, yes, count them, 6 skeins of Red Heart inside the yarnball!

The skein of Lion Brand Homespun that tried to escape picture taking!

Chocolate Egg, Chocolate scented soap, Life is Good sticker (matched the tire cover on my jeep!) and 5 blocks of polymer clay!  There was a chocolate bunny too but I needed sustinance while unwrapping and he was the unfortunate victim.   Cheesy

She knew I wanted to learn how to spin using a drop spindle so she sent me roving and a drop spindle!  yay!  Every time I say roving I think of a song the men's choir did in college "a-roving, a-roving, since roving's been my ru-i-n, I'll go no more a-roving with you fair maid"  It's not a clean song but its really funny.   Cheesy

packaging tape...  with a design on it!  how cool is that?!  I've seen it at Michael's before, just never bought it.  I love it!

Crocheted music notes!  I'm going to take these to school and hang them somewhere in the classroom!

A knitted washcloth with music notes on it!  How amazing is that?!

Earrings!  I love earrings!  I have lots of them!  Are the animals llamas or alpacas???  My other guess was giraffes. Huh

dipping chocolate....  time to break out the strawberries and pineapple!!

Matching earrings and pendant!  These are from my wist!  I love them!

Here comes the sun, do-n-doo-doo, here comes the sun, and I say, its all right...  She made me a music scarf with Here Comes the Sun on it!  My favorite song of ALL time!

Finally....  a record purse!  Amazing!  Sorry there's not a good shot of the fabric inside but that fabric is really awesome as well!  My students are going to get a kick out of it when I take it to school!   Grin

THanks so much sarahj!!!  You spoiled me!

Here's my amazing package from Zombie_Queen!  There are some extra goodies that have nothing to do with the Farmer's Market so she totally rocks the world right now!   Cheesy

The whole sh-bang! There's a bag of fiber and a drop spindel, 2 DVDs that I haven't looked at yet, 2 pairs of earrings (corn and carrots), an awesome apron that I just LOVE!  Directions for drop spinning, embroidered bag with veggies on it!  awesome!  Fuzzy green and purple wallet, 3 produce bags, and a lip balm.  That's not in the picture...  its already in my purse.  It smells sooooo yummy!

Close up of the bag.

Close up pictures of the fuzzy purple and green-ness!   Cheesy  Sorry one of them is kinda blurry....  stupid camera!

Thanks sooooo much Zombie!  This stuff is just amazing!  Sitting down and learning how to spin is my reward for finishing some of my other projects.  So here we go...  time to go crochet some more.  Cheesy

Here are some pictures of the goodies I sent MadGypsy.  There's only one thing I forgot to photograph and that's the frog friend I made to start her Fairy Garden.

These are pictures of the Fairy Treasure Box.  It used to be a cigar box (loooooong time ago - doesn't smell like cigars anymore).

Polymer Clay Dryad.  I glued it to a wooden plaque but I don't have a picture of that.

A better picture of the Dryad's face.

She asked for some wall art so I did my best to accomidate.

Polymer Clay mushrooms

Happy Fairy Door.
