Awesome hoopla!  I love this pattern and the way Jexxican did it is just amazing!

And look at how neat the back is...  how unfair is it that she can make it so neat?!

AND STAMPS!  I LOVE these stamps!  SQUEE!

Thanks Jexxican!  You are so awesome!

Its about time I posted something I finished!  Jeez - I've been slack with pictures!

This is Magellan the Dragon guarding his jar of treasure.  (the treasure is folded lucky origami stars).  I just happen to like his expression the best of everything else about him.  He's definitely inspired by Christi Frisien's designs!

Here's a link to my post on the polymer boards if you want to see more.

Here's my package from wdicwg!!  I got some really awesome goodies!  Cheesy

I don't have any actual yarn ball pictures but here's the yarn it was wrapped in.  Smiley  wool yarn by Sheepish.  LOVE the color!  Here's a link to the pattern she sent me!  Cannot wait to start this!  Its so pretty!

I think this is my favorite thing from the whole package.  Its all awesome but this is really my fav!  Shrinky-Dink butterfly wing with beads and curly-cue.

Appliqued pillow case.  Very pretty!

Goodies!  We have a bookmark, 2 pairs of earrings, awesome natural sea turtle buttons, stitch markers, various beads and charms, embroidered paper mini frame, sparkly goodies that I can use for my fairy garden this summer, and a magnet frame with fairy and mushroom.

Close up pictures of the two frames.

Sea turtle etching!  Not sure what I'll do with this yet but its really cool!  Cheesy

Thanks!  This was a fabulous swap!  It was so much fun to meet wdicwg!

4  Magellan the Dragon ~ Pic heavy! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Ffrogg526 on: May 01, 2013 03:12:06 PM
I made this for someone and then decided that he was so very cool that I had to keep him for myself a while longer.  There are other birthday presents to be had!  lol  *shame*  Without any further adieu, here is Magellan!

I love the expression I gave him.  Kinda hard to see with the wand in his mouth though.

The WINGS!  not my favorite part but still pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Metal plating.  The screws are polymer clay with mica powder.  Don't they look real?

The "peaking over the shoulder" pose.  Aren't I cute?

I'm thinking he needs friends.  Considering Columbus, Sacagawea, Ponce de Leon, and Cousteau.  Not sure why I picked explorers.  But I think its going to be fun!

Questions and comments welcome!  Smiley

My first finished project of 2013!  And guess what...  Its the same project I finished at the beginning of 2012.

I started this right after Christmas so its a carry over from 2012.  I think its just the time of year.  I always end up doing scarves over the Christmas Holiday.  I'm working on another scrap scarf right now too because I have teachers fighting over who gets the finished one right now.  Roll Eyes

Here are several projects I've been working on recently.

Here's a link to a few more pictures.

Paper Mache Mushroom for our production of Willy Wonka.  There will be 10 or 14 more of these but this is the prototype for the folks helping me make the props.

The gills on the underside of the mushroom cap.

Christmas gift for Zach's grandmother (the one that likes me).

Still trying to work on a shrug for myself and Zach's old man sweater....  But right now I have to contemplate my lesson plans for this next week.  Roll Eyes

7  Holiday Stockings 3 years in waiting in Winter Holidays by Ffrogg526 on: December 02, 2012 10:13:08 AM
My fiancee asked me several years ago to make stockings for each of us for his apartment....  He'll be moving out of his apartment in January so...  you know...  time to get them done!  Cheesy  His is the more traditional of the two.  He is also the self-proclaimed boring one between the two of us.  Roll Eyes

I don't much care for the cuff on my stocking because I ended up making the cuff too big or the main stocking too small.  Either way.  I still think it works.  Smiley

8  A ga-jillion hexagons in Crochet: Completed Projects by Ffrogg526 on: November 04, 2012 12:30:51 PM
Ok - maybe not a ga-jillion.  264 to be precise.  However, I finally finished this afghan today.  It has sat in piles of hexagons, sat waiting to be put together, sat half put together and half in piles, sat waiting on a border and I've just kind of ignored it from time to time.  But now it is done!  And I'm very proud of it being done!

These are some of my favorite hexagons!

Questions and comments welcome!

And here's the pattern I used!

I've made it back to NC for the weekend and I got to open my package from MareMare!  SQUEEEEEE!!!  Cheesy  She made me all sorts of quilted goodies because I don't quilt (yet).  And they're all in my favorite colors!  Its wonderful!

Dresden plate pillow in lovely shades of green with a gray background!  LOVE!!

These two show the awesome sewing pattern.  I love she went in circles and then followed the points.  Smiley

Mug Rug!  Front (hexagons) and back (patterned fabric)

Pretty quilted wall hanging!  Fantastic!

This is the backing of the wall hanging.

Finally - she sent me goodies to add to my stash for whenever I get around to actually quilting myself things on my own!  Cheesy

THANK YOU MAREMARE!!!

10  Whimsical Colorful Tree in Needlework: Completed Projects by Ffrogg526 on: July 21, 2012 06:56:50 PM
I made this for UntouchableFace in the most recent IYP swap!  And she just received so I can post this!

And a few close-ups.

Its kind of hard to see because I used a pale blue but there are "sparkles" around the tree.  Cheesy
