Here's an action shot of the beautiful t-shirt gavagai sent me, being modeled by my Tori (yes, same child who desperately wanted a necklace saying "if you can read this I will lick you"). The detail on the shirt is unbelievably clear and detailed.

and a close up of the lovely design (which is the logo for an amazing seeming ice cream company)

Thank you gavagai!

I have a good excuse for being late on posting pics this time... really i do... okay not really. I wanted to figure out how to frame what I received first. Then I realized I should have taken pictures before framing it. Anyway, I have wanted something like this forever and SheepBlue did it more beautifully than I could have imagined. Not only that, she did it in such a perfect size that I was able to go into a store and buy a frame with a matte board just exactly the right size. I am still dumbfounded by that.

Here is the amazing embroidery

Here it is showing the frame and the frame's original purpose. I may end up getting a different frame - I really bought it just for the matte board.

As if the embroidery might not have been enough?Huh She also sent this wrist cuff in a truly lovely yarn. I have no idea what type of yarn it is, but I would seriously love anything made with it. It is so soft and has a lovely sheen and you have to love the subtle shade gradation.

And yes, there was more... these beautiful crocheted river rocks.

Thank you SheepBlue! I am in awe of your skills as always!

More extremely late to be posted pictures (but still not the SheepBlue package - it is coming, really it is). I've been feeling the love from our yarnie craftsters which is wonderful since I have no yarn skills myself.

First up two lovely little mug rugs from StainedMushroom, very nicely made and lovely colors

Next is a sweet crochet chevron infinity scarf from La Chapa. Sorry, I tried to take a decent action shot but oh my goodness the heat... I looked awful in them Cheesy I am sure when I am not so desperately hot it will be much more becoming on me.

Thank you ladies, I love both of these packages!

Gorgeous package and so uplifting to see how happy it made the recipient.

I have a wonderful brother who lives with me and happens to be on vacation in Disney at the moment. One of the things this wonderful brother does is to bring in the mail. I had a seriously stuffed mailbox today... unfortunately, you are not seeing those pictures tonight. I have to wait till good light and for one item, possibly matting and framing.

That being said, I do have another package that the postwoman brought right to my door the other day and I am horribly late in posting the pictures.

Anna.wahnsinn sent me a gorgeous necklace - can you imagine, she was able to figure out my well kept secret that my favorite colors are blue and white? I can't imagine the time and effort she put into this.

I hate posting action shots, but here is one I took the day I received. Very odd for me to be wearing any color besides blue or black... quite out of the ordinary... anyway, I am very happy with the style, the colors and the length of the necklace Smiley

Thank you Anne!

I can never get enough browsing in at spoonflower - you can search on any fandom or any thing and find a ton of prints... I just searched asparagus. Who would think there could be dozens of fabrics with asparagus themes?

Glad you like it Edel and happy to see your daughter enjoy her candy Cheesy kids are never too old to get a little extra something.

I claim SheepBlue for zippered cross body bag on the smallish side

4 claims, 2 sent, 1 received

About Me: My name is Laura and I live in Maryland with my husband, 3 kids, a dog, a cat, a rabbit, 2 guinea pigs, and a box turtle.

For most things, I would prefer items inspired by my pinterest instead of exact duplicates.

I am a huge fan of Loki, Firefly/Serenity, steampunk, and the color blue in all shades. Most rooms in my house are white or beige with blue accents, my living room is pale green. I need some color. I'm trying to make our house feel something like a beach cottage (even tho we are about 30 minute drive from the Chesapeake bay) but the house has more of an overstuffed, cluttered, lived in feel.

We have no allergies here (other than awful ragweed allergies... but can't see that as much of an issue in swap packages)

Please feel to claim me for anything on my Please make this for me boards on pinterest (http://www.pinterest.com/averiakrazy/please-make-this-for-me/ http://www.pinterest.com/averiakrazy/please-make-this-for-me-knitcrochet/ or http://www.pinterest.com/averiakrazy/please-make-this-for-me-embroidered-bits/
