You are not going to believe the two amazing packages I received mid-illness. I can not believe the generosity of these women!!!
First in was from anna.wahnsinn. She claimed me for a wrap bracelet with squarish beads that I had pinned. I can not believe how lovely it is. She made it to loop around my wrist 3 times and it fits perfectly! The variety of color and texture in these blue & black beads is gorgeous. My flash is making it look a bit lighter than it actually is.
Also in the package was an incredible array of silk floss. I don't know if any of you have ever bought silk floss instead of the regular DMC stuff - this is a fortune in silk!
And finally, some goodies for my dollhouse. 2 beaded necklaces and most touching of all, the cutest little perfume tray with personal meaning to Anne. I wish my camera could do better on the teeny tinyness of it, but this is the best I could get.
Thank you Anne!!!
The next package in my mailbox came from Grab a coffee who claimed me for wire worked jewelry supplies and jewelry. She added in a very special bonus to replace an item that she had claimed me for in a previous round that got lost in transit. (A special item that I had put on my list to be crafted in "Grab a coffee style". If you have been to her online shop, you will see she does all these tiny little embroidered and embellished felt circle earrings and pendants. I wanted a cuff made out of those circles. Isn't it gorgeous?
Then there was a beautiful elven style wire worked necklace
11! Yes, you read that right, Eleven! Crocheted beaded bracelets/anklets.
And tho any of those above items would have been more than enough in a claim, she also sent a bunch of supplies
So much wire in so many colors and thicknesses (Rox? Please can we meet and you can show me how to start off with wire wrapped jewelry?) and all these beads...what is the big blue heart? It is lovely
A better shot of some of my favorites - The dark multifaceted ones would be awesome on earrings, but I'm tempted to make some stumpwork and somehow incorporate those as dragon eggs.
Thank you Eszter!!!
