I did not get to meet up with A2K while she was in town visiting her grandbaby so she must wait a while to get her package Sad

Lucky me, she shipped before heading for home so I received already!

a clutch with free motion quilting (wow she is good at this! not a talent I possess), Lovely little quilt with one of the blocks hanging off - I have actually pinned this a few times because I love the idea so much, A cute little zippered pouch I can put on my key chain for carrying stuff while I am out walking, Pin cushion and matching thread catcher that stands up really well (How did you do that?), a bit of the fabric in a hoop ready for embelishment, and she embellished the card with the blue fabric and some free motion quilting. Love everything! Love the fabric choices for crafting as well as the ones for me.

Thank you Tonya! As always, you have cheered me by sharing your amazing skills with me. I really appreciate the thoughtful and beautiful package.

I received an amazing package from Jemimah on Tuesday - which just happened to be my birthday. Best birthday package ever!

Here's everything: a coiled bowl and hot pad, a pillow cover (so me!), a sulu (sulus?) which is a Fijian skirt, very dark blue and ever so delicate cowl, lovely art work (I have a framed piece of art from Jemimah hanging in my kitchen already so another piece has me very excited), a mug rug, and turtle dove ornaments with a kit to make more of them! So much and all of it beautiful!

Close up of the doves with their perfect stitching

Close up of the cowl showing how fine the yarn is and how delicate the stitching

Squeeing over the mug rug! Love love love it!

Coiled bowl and hot pad - can never have enough blue and white in my kitchen (or anywhere)

Pillow cover, I love the way it is put together!

Best of all - A beautiful piece of art!

Kirsten, I have no idea how you fit this all into the shoebox you sent. I wish I had been patient enough to take a picture before I started opening since it was all so lovely in it's packaging - all tied with dark blue stitched tissue ribbon. Thank you for a package that shows so much care and attention to my tastes!

I received from Anne - well more like my Tori did.

Here is Tori's baby Jimmie in his new sweater set

More clothes for her dolls Riley and Savannah. The skirts and cute crop pants will really fill out their wardrobes nicely.

We are doing our own private little visitor swap and here is Lilith getting acquainted with my Tori.

Thank you Anne! Tori and I love everything and Lilith is doing just fine. (pronounced like "Li'l it" but said with love)

So sorry for the loss of your friend Allie.

In more cheerful news, I received a tiny package of awesome today. Even though it is one of the tiniest packages I have ever received it is certainly not a small effort. DearBluebird claimed me for inchies - I think somehow she must have noticed my favorite colors.

I must show the inchie themed card - so very precise as well as pretty.

All the inchies! I think 69 of them? wowzers!

Thank you DearBluebird!

Here's my package from Annchen who claimed me for a pocket dragon.

Here's a close up of the very cute dragon - I guess somehow she figured out my favorite colors even though I try so hard to keep it a secret.

She also sent a very well painted plaster wolf head

Chapstick cozies

and 2 um very interesting rolls of licorice candy. Curiously strong isn't the word for these, way way way stronger than any licorice I have ever tasted before. At least the kids wont steal them from me since they thought I was poisoning them when I let them try the candy.

Thank you Annchen!

JS spoiled my Tori and her 'baby' Riley. Please check out Riley in her beautiful new dress in her favorite colors and see all the lovely new clothes she has. There is a soft comfy pair of pajamas and 2 skirts as well as the dress with purse and sash. We especially love the winter skirt with the pompoms!

Thank you JS!

Rscowtown sent me not one, but two lovely embroidery books. The Japanese embroidery book is going to take some study and the other book is going to be put right to use for some crazy quilting.

Thank you Laurel!

Lo{ve} sent me an extremely generous package of quilting supplies! The colors are a gorgeous mix of blues and greens. (my Tori has declared I must make her a quilt with these colors) I can't wait to dive in and start using it all! The diamond template is going to get a lot of use since I love lone star quilts but never had the right template. Then again, 3 diamonds make a perfect hexagon and I also love hexagons.

anyway, here it all is, 2 jelly rolls in blues and greens, matching fat quarters, a diamond template, dresden plate template (I'm still a noob, this is slightly intimidating to me, but now that I have the template, maybe i will get brave?) and paper pieces.

Thank you Lo{ve}!

I am not crafting a ton at the moment but I am finally getting things framed and on the wall... which is sort of crafting. Both these pieces came from this swap Smiley The bird art was from Jemimah and the frog zentangle was from SheepBlue.
