Let's close out this swap with a big bang!!!!!!! Grin

My angel package arrived today and I want to thank ladybugsandbumblebees for being such a generous and thoughtful angel.

Miss Barbara is the best....we have swapped several times and even done personal swaps and she always delivers.....not only in quality, quantity but also in love and thoughtfulness...never disappointed with her as a partner or.......an angel!!!! Kiss

First up my package arrived looking so festive......

The first thing I saw was fabric scraps.....They are pieces left over from some prior projects that ladybugs sent to me!!!!  These will be used for some projects in future swaps and maybe a few tessha moore patches for me!

Next up some twizzlers that is a favorite candy of mine LBBB knows me well!!!!! Wink

A cute little calendar clip board...this is headed to work with me!

an awesome crocheted covered mason jar.....I have 3 but LBBB knows I always ask for more.....Red  a favorite color!!!  Now if you know Barbara she always fills every little nook and cranny of a package and yes the jar was full......2 skeins of pearl cotton thread.....great for those TM patches and in LBBB's favorite color.....I think of her often and will even more when using this thread!!!!!  A crocheted cozy for lip balm which yes was included too..... and a button that says my grass is green.....what's up with that button and why would she send it you ask?Huh  Well you see I use to mow yards a few years back....now I just do 2 and I love to mow so it is perfect in a weird way!!!!  Kiss

A plastic tumbler for my soda....spot on and inside was some Velcro....win win!!!!

and a new mug......red and white!!!!!!!

A photo frame.....

A cute owl (a favorite animal) cross stitch for my hoopla wall.

Some Trader Joes Instant coffee....this is new to me and I am excited to try it.....there are 10 packets with creamer and sugar added...both of which I use.....
Cappuccino Cookies another first for me.....

An oh so perfect mug rug......dragonfly fabric all stitched to a crocheted backing and hand quilted too!
A crocheted red mug cozy that has 2 buttons so it is adjustable.....great for hot..cold..or sweating beverages!

and last but not least....unless I missed something in this mega angel package....
2 butterfly crocheted topped towels with such cute flashy colorful buttons.....yes LBBB knows me well!

Sorry about the sideways photos....they were rotated but will not stay....

23  Re: FOC Second Chance Wishlist Swap 2015 GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by quaggy on: March 02, 2015 05:54:16 PM
I just arrived home from a 10 day vacation and found a wonderful package from TAJO waiting for me!!!! I was super spoiled and love everything!

First up a cute handmade card and some gum!  I love gum and fish are a favorite of mine the perfect colors, this will probably go into a frame and become wall art!

Next an awesome pincushion straight from my pinterest but this one is better because it is mine!   Just look at all the tiny detail stitching!  I am a proud owner and will display it with my collection!

There are 3 windows and one side has the door....just look at the awnings, tiny flowers and the door knob....my mushroom is awesome!

I also collect hooplas, love the colors red and aqua and when put together that earns an A+ and fish are a favorite of mine.......This will sure be an eye catcher on my hoopla wall!

As if this was not enough.....I was blown away with this next gift.  I never in my wildest dreams would have ever thought I would ever receive a shawl yet alone one that is aqua and turquoise and so fun!!!! I love it the tassels are fantastic!  This is incredible and certainly have been enough!  I just woke up from a nap but had BF snap a few photos to show it off!!!!

Thank you hardly seems like enough for such an awesome package!!!!!! But from the bottom of my heart all the way to the top of it.  THANK YOU!!!

25  Re: 2015 Annual DeStash-Along in Craftalongs by quaggy on: February 13, 2015 03:44:37 PM
I managed to have a few swap partners receive so a photo dump of things I made from stash.  This has been great for me as I always buy stuff on sale and hoard it.  I do have to say I did purchase thread, I have a surplus of fabric and since one of my favorite sites had my favorite thread on sale I stocked up...... Iguess since it is a supply to help destash my fabric it is justified.

Here are some mug rugs

A mug caddy

Wall Art tray (I still have 3 of these to decorate and one headed to another swap partner)

A wooden box....lots more of wood boxes and such still in stash!

Altered block of wood......I could make zillions of these

Altered art cube...2 more of these in stash as well....

My package to judishaver arrived a few days back....If I recall she was in the process of moving so life may have gotten in the way...here are photos of what I sent!

A mug for her and one for hubby!
Plus a mug rug to match!

Then I decided to also sent a mug caddy filled with sewing supplies since this was her 1st swap I wanted to try and make it special and welcome her to the wonderful world of swaps!

Since one of her favorite color combos is pink and back I included an extra mug rug for fun!

Some extras to enjoy in her mugs and a puzzle for her son to hang on his wall!

Hoping my partner is ok!!!!

Awe you are to sweet My Valentine!!!!  In no order here are some photos of the items that stillatthetop described!

Yes the wooden jewelry keepsake chest was raw wood and I did use crackle paint to let the pink show through in the cracks of the ivory....  I did not take pictures of the candy or extra crafts they were just little extras to make it a special day!!!!!

Lot's of love Valentine!!!!!!!

rscowtown sent me the most wonderful box of aqua with a touch of red!!!!! I am so happy!!!!

1st up some extras.....2 packs of gum and a swatch of fabric......this may become the majority of an owl for me!!!!

Next up is a coiled rope coaster....it's new home will be on the table that is the home of my laptop....perfect size and color for my den! Kiss

3, yes 3 bookmarks....I love to read and one of these is headed to Florida on vacation with me next Friday...look at the detail stitching on the middle one!

Now I would have been tickled with just 1 coil rope bowl but rscowtown made me 2....yes 2!!!! Grin
1st up is one that is so me....the rope is wrapped with aqua fabric then sewn with red thread....The size is perfect!

my 2nd bowl is so cute!!!!  rscowtown shared that she sewed the rope then used paint to color it....I included a picture of the back to show what it looked like prior to the artist work!

didn't this turn out so well

My last gift took lots of stalking and came together so well!!!!!!!  I think this is a coffee can...rscowtown decorated the outside with my favorite things....camping, fishing, boating, the sun and the words  At the lake  and  Friends are God's way of taking care of us!  So so true!  It is perfect with all shades of aqua and turquoise and the red lid makes it pop!  This is headed to the lake this summer and will stay at my lake trailer....at the moment I am thinking of keeping my embroidery floss  and small projects inside or maybe coffee filters...then agin it could hold loose change...anyway whatever choice I make it will make my days brighter on weekend getaways!

Thank you so much rscowtown for such a well thought out, colorful and exciting package!!!!!!! Kiss Kiss Kiss

Please post any additional pictures that you have....the artwork on the can is truly amazing....what an artist....my pictures just do no do it justice!
It shimmers.........
