I managed to have a few swap partners receive so a photo dump of things I made from stash. This has been great for me as I always buy stuff on sale and hoard it. I do have to say I did purchase thread, I have a surplus of fabric and since one of my favorite sites had my favorite thread on sale I stocked up...... Iguess since it is a supply to help destash my fabric it is justified.
Here are some mug rugs
A mug caddy
Wall Art tray (I still have 3 of these to decorate and one headed to another swap partner)
A wooden box....lots more of wood boxes and such still in stash!
Altered block of wood......I could make zillions of these
Altered art cube...2 more of these in stash as well....
Awe you are to sweet My Valentine!!!! In no order here are some photos of the items that stillatthetop described!
Yes the wooden jewelry keepsake chest was raw wood and I did use crackle paint to let the pink show through in the cracks of the ivory.... I did not take pictures of the candy or extra crafts they were just little extras to make it a special day!!!!!
rscowtown sent me the most wonderful box of aqua with a touch of red!!!!! I am so happy!!!!
1st up some extras.....2 packs of gum and a swatch of fabric......this may become the majority of an owl for me!!!!
Next up is a coiled rope coaster....it's new home will be on the table that is the home of my laptop....perfect size and color for my den!
3, yes 3 bookmarks....I love to read and one of these is headed to Florida on vacation with me next Friday...look at the detail stitching on the middle one!
Now I would have been tickled with just 1 coil rope bowl but rscowtown made me 2....yes 2!!!! 1st up is one that is so me....the rope is wrapped with aqua fabric then sewn with red thread....The size is perfect!
my 2nd bowl is so cute!!!! rscowtown shared that she sewed the rope then used paint to color it....I included a picture of the back to show what it looked like prior to the artist work!
didn't this turn out so well
My last gift took lots of stalking and came together so well!!!!!!! I think this is a coffee can...rscowtown decorated the outside with my favorite things....camping, fishing, boating, the sun and the words At the lake and Friends are God's way of taking care of us! So so true! It is perfect with all shades of aqua and turquoise and the red lid makes it pop! This is headed to the lake this summer and will stay at my lake trailer....at the moment I am thinking of keeping my embroidery floss and small projects inside or maybe coffee filters...then agin it could hold loose change...anyway whatever choice I make it will make my days brighter on weekend getaways!
Thank you so much rscowtown for such a well thought out, colorful and exciting package!!!!!!!
Please post any additional pictures that you have....the artwork on the can is truly amazing....what an artist....my pictures just do no do it justice! It shimmers.........

I am ready to wrap everything, but want to show off one thing to my mom and coworkers before it hits the post office! Working on my Valentine swap and between stuff drying I may can craft one more thing to add to the box before it leaves here. I am super excited and could not have been partnered any better...I had so much inspiration and so much stuff in my stash that worked so well with the color peacock!
Decided to try and bust through some flannel...A co-worker's daughter just had a son so I decided to use up the last of the cloth diapers I had bought when I made a bunch of burp cloths for another co-worker 2 years ago. Her theme is monkey's and I surprised myself that I had 15 different flannel prints with monkeys. The ribbon was also in my stash.
ok here are my first two finished projects..... The owl calendar was a WIP that I started New Years eve. The lighthouse calendar I started in December but had put it down and decided to finish them both this last weekend.
I have listed to at least complete 4 more similar kits just seasonal ones. I have about 20. Talk about needing to join AAA for Craft hoarders!
This is in response to question of earliest crafting memories...... I actual started out in elementary school making large tissue paper flowers. I could get the packages of tissue for 29 cents at T G & Y and make 2 flowers out of a package. I went around the neighborhood selling them for $1.00 each making a mega profit. I was rich! I continued crafting and in Junior High was in Home Economics taking both cooking and sewing. Once I got to High school I was making all my own clothes. These pictures are 2 dresses I made my senior year when I was 17. I did enter the white one in the fair and took 1st place. I was also awarded the Betty Crocker award in Junior High still have the Plaque, but not any of the food! Wow what a trip down memory lane that was 37 1/2 years ago!
