Destashing supplies is always fun.  I used up cloth diapers managed to use some flannel and ribbon from my stash as well. 15  Burp cloths for a co-workers daughter.

Decided to try and bust through some flannel...A co-worker's daughter just had a son so I decided to use up the last of the cloth diapers I had bought when I made a bunch of burp cloths for another co-worker 2 years ago.  Her theme is monkey's and I surprised myself that I had 15 different flannel prints with monkeys.  The ribbon was also in my stash.

These are my 2 favorites!

ok here are my first two finished projects..... The owl calendar was a WIP that I started New Years eve.  The lighthouse calendar I started in December but had put it down and decided to finish them both this last weekend.

I have listed to  at least complete 4 more similar kits just seasonal ones.  I have about 20.  Talk about needing to join AAA for Craft hoarders!

This is in response to question of earliest crafting memories......  I actual started out in elementary school making large tissue paper flowers.  I could get the packages of tissue for 29 cents at T G & Y and make 2 flowers out of a package.  I went around the neighborhood selling them for $1.00 each making  a mega profit.  I was rich!  I continued crafting and in Junior High was in Home Economics taking both cooking and sewing.  Once I got to High school I was making all my own clothes.  These pictures are 2 dresses I made my senior year when I was 17.  I did enter the white one in the fair and took 1st place.  I was also awarded the Betty Crocker award in Junior High still have the Plaque, but not any of the food!  Wow what a trip down memory lane that was 37 1/2 years ago!

yep I still have both dresses in the cedar chest!

4  Re: Winterlicious Celebrations Matchbox Swap - Gallery of Matchbox Goodies... in The Swap Gallery by quaggy on: January 05, 2015 03:30:55 PM
I came home from my first day back to work after being off 14 days for Christmas break to find both of my partners package's waiting in my mailbox for me!

I love them both and this just makes me want to make more!

1st up from Onyxnox

Super cute woodland winter scene.....  Mine is similar to the one that she sent to Wile E Songdog except my woodland creature is a deer!  The outside of the box is perfect as it looks to be either birch tree bark, or paper or it might just be hand painted onyxnox will have to clairify for sure.
It was also full of wonderful goodies....another small deer, some owl buttons, bells, gingerbread men (a favorite of mine) a painted and glittered snowflake and redbird plus much more!
Thank you so much for a wonderful start to a new addiction!

My 2nd partner crazyda79 sent the perfect snowflake adorned box!  The box was wrapped with multicolor snowflake paper with the ends of the box being papered in blue, so cute!

Inside it was filled with all sorts of goodies...I can totally see the polar bear on a matchbox...buttons, a Boys Town postage stamp, mini clothespin and other bits of treasures! The cute card was also hand made.  I so need to do this for swaps!  Thank you as well for my 2nd addition to what I am sure will become an addiction!

Here's a photo of the handmade card from onyxnox

My Secret Santa was Lindy and I was spoiled!

Lindy sent me a variety of ornaments which now adorn my tree!!!!!!

Wine corks.....one has an owl bead ( a favorite of mine  and the other a snowflake) I love them both!

A cute sparkle snowman.......I may have to make more of these.....so cute!!!!

A very vintage looking Santa that comes apart!

And a super cute gingerbread snowflake!!!!!

Lindy and I have swapped before and I love her shrines.....the Halloween one was sent to me early this year and the snowman shrine was included in my Secret Santa package....I adore him and love that she sent this to add to my collection!

I am gonna call this my mini snow globe with out the water..........It is so cute the tree and snowman are so small...a wonderful winter scene.

Speaking of small...look at this mini Christmas tin that her daughter made for me.  My own winter wonderland!!!  This has been placed in my purse for now so that I can pop it out and enjoy  a little winter every day!  Thank you Adia for crafting for me!!!!  You are the best!!!!

A snowflake bath bomb with a scrubby.....

A necklace that I love and a snowflake pin made from felt!!!!  The stitches on the felt snowman brooch are so tiny!

Christmas cards that will be used in the next few days!!!!!!!

Lindy also made me this super cute hoopla for my collection!!!!!!  A vintage travel trailer!!!!!!!  The color just pops and is so well made!!!!

and one last ornament... a darling little cupcake!!!!!!!!

I almost forgot these two guys as I already have them on my refrig...... 2 cute snowmen magnets!

Thank you Lindy and Adia for spoiling me so much...I love everything and the cookies that I posted in the thread were yummy.....they are all gone..... please pm me the recipe I need more!
