1  Re: Baby Legs... in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by olivias-mommy on: September 15, 2006 07:21:39 AM
All I did was purchase some Knee High Socks from either Target (they had them on clearance the other week) or Walmart or where ever you want to. Then I cut just above the foot of where it meets the long part of the sock. I then hemmed the leg part with either clear thread or thread to match the color of the socks and it took less than 10 minutes on all three. Very simple. They are similar to leg warmers for children and can also be used on the arms as well. My daughter likes to use them on both. Heres a picture with her using them on her arms. They are too easy to make and I have already started a collection of them. I also have been making these into little gifts for moms having new little babies!

I have made some Babylegs for my daughter who is 2 and I had bought several pair from the actual retailer for $12 each and realized that then I could make them myself! Go Figure, right? Plus I took the footies and made them into footies for mom! it's a 2 in 1 deal!

Feedback is always welcome!!!

this one I added an inside pocket. It was my first time trying this way. i think it turned out pretty good.

Umbrella stroller Bag

I made this bag for my daughter's Stroller. We didn't have one when we got this one and I wanted to have one on there so that I didn't have to carry a diaper bag too. I use this stroller when i go on short little trips. Hope you like:)

I have made some ribbon blankies like you see in some stores for $25.00 and up. I made it out of an old receiving blanket that I had lying around the house. We have so many that I didn't want to waste it. I am planning on making another one for her but i will give it to her for christmas.
