How long did that take you?

Only took a few weeks- 2 or 3, usually knitting big blocks in front of the tv (or in the car, took it to the mountains for a weekend).  Yay netflix Cheesy  It didn't take terribly long.

30  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Disney hip/crossbody bag of fun on: July 10, 2010 05:04:35 PM
It so happens this year that I get the awesome chance to go to Orlando with my college roommate and her mom.  We're leaving Friday morning for 5 days in Disney and Universal (YAY HARRY POTTER WORLD!! *cough* back to the post...).  And while I have bags I use to carry around theme parks, I thought to myself "Self, this is a great excuse for a new bag!".  And so I sat down today (watching ABC Family's Harry Potter weekend...) and put this together Smiley  I used the fantastic iris1617's tute for her belt bag for the freedom of all hands, found here.

I made a few small changes- I put a pocket in the front side, and did the flap separate because I was using a directional printed fabric.  And I think mine ended up smaller than hers, but hey, it holds stuff!

Front/top flap

Inside, showing the pocket.  The tabs on the sides are meant to be used for a long purse strap, dependent on me finding/making one.  They'd also hold keys Smiley

And in action!

Thanks for looking Smiley
