1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Tell me how you really feel. [cross stitch key chains] on: March 11, 2010 02:19:48 AM

These are meant to go into those plastic key chains that people normally put small photos in.

Blue-Green variegated

Gray-Black variegated
2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / That's a fair gloopy title. Who ever heard of a clockwork orange? [stencil] on: March 11, 2010 01:56:13 AM
I found the stencil at stencilpunks.org
The black is slightly sparkly, but you probably can't tell in the picture. Because I like glitter.
It's about 8x10.

I may sew it onto a messenger bag.
3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Fabric Medium? on: March 09, 2010 05:38:49 AM
I have tried a few different brands of textile medium and haven't really noticed much difference between them, but I usually stick with Delta just 'cause I like the thicker consistency. Some brands use a 1:1 ratio, but I'm pretty sure that Delta is 1 part medium, 2 parts paint - which would be another reason why I like it, I get more bang for my buck. It usually can be found in 2 oz., 4 oz., and 6 oz. bottles. Depending on the size of the bottle, it usually runs me about $1.99-4.99 USD.

That is really cool!
I've never heard of Italian quilting before.
I think you may have just given me another crafty addiction.
5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / G'ed up from the feet up ... on: March 03, 2010 06:18:42 AM

I don't know if you can tell, but the variegated part of the border is also edged in back stitch.

6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Kustom Krafts Gatekeeper # 9951 Cross Stitch on: March 03, 2010 06:07:35 AM
I'm so sorry for your loss. Have you tried to contact them to see if you can get the key?
Thank you.
Actually, I hadn't thought of contacting them. Sometimes the obvious isn't so obvious to me, lol.

9  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Latest News / Re: Craftster Transition to New Servers on Thursday 2/25/10 on: March 01, 2010 05:41:47 AM
Just a few moments ago (about 5:25 AM, PST), Craftster kept telling me that there was an error and that I had been banned.
I didn't notice exactly what the error was, as I was busy fighting back tears and a panic attack, but after refreshing a thousand times and trying to log out a few times, it quit telling me I was banned and the site started working properly for me. I don't know if anybody else has experienced this, or if it was just me.

When I tried to post the message above, I got this:
Internal Server Error - Read
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Reference #3.1755434d.1267449782.1b1a5c3e

I got that same message (w/ different reference numbers) numerous times, trying to access the site from my bookmarks, via Google, etc.

My computer has been giving me a lot of crap recently, so maybe it's just acting up again. But, I thought I'd post it here just in case.

I just got banned Cheesy

Clearly I'm on again now, so the world is okay again Grin
A few thousand of you did. Cheesy  Oops.  Hehe!

Guess I wasn't the only one! I just about died.
