6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / glitterati on: January 18, 2009 12:08:20 PM
hi guys. this is another older painting of mine which hangs in my hallway. i love using glitter in dark paintings, i think when it catches the light it brings a whole new feel to the painting. i love mixing textures, and creating paintings that you just wanna reach out and touch.  Smiley thanks for looking!!

10  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / hello from england on: December 30, 2008 05:55:09 AM
 Roll Eyes Huh

hi guys! im new here! im from the north of england. 27 year old mother of 2 young kiddies and recently been diagnosed with postnatal depression. ive always been artistic and been enthusiatic, but since having the babies have struggled to find the time and also the inspiration. ive started getting back on track and making a little time each week for my art output. i find it relaxes me alot and helps with the PND. trouble is, ive really been out of the arts and crafts scene for a good few years and hope joining this community will help me out. ive mainly been into painting, but was given a sewing machine by my hubbie and now im dying to use it in an artistic way. im extremely new to the machine, and hav only just really learnt to sew a straight line! but i wont give up!
anyways, im happy to join you guys! and from what i have seen, the talent on here is amazing!
