Ok, I thought it was a beautiful dress, with a super cute fabric, UNTIL I saw the back of it.  Then... I thought it was AWESOME!  Wow!  I just love it!!!  How creative!  I've got to agree.. it totally kicks ass!

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Hello Kitty Sandals with rubber soles on: April 04, 2010 05:18:33 PM
I'm not a Hello Kitty fan.. I don't dislike it, but it doesn't really do anything for me, either.  That being said... I LOVE these sandals!  They are just adorable.  I like that you put rubber soles into them too.  I haven't worn knit or crocheted socks or slippers or anything similar since I was a kid, because I've got super sensitive feet and the stitches just irritate the bottoms of them sooo badly.  I'd wear these in a heartbeat!
Where did you find the rubber soles?
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: My new tote bag! on: March 02, 2010 10:22:01 PM
I absolutely LOVE this tote!  You did an outstanding job on each one of them.  Did you use a pattern?  If so, pleeeaaase share which one, because I want one just like yours!
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: J Darko , or epic 2 and a half weeks of circles on: January 31, 2010 10:01:36 PM
WOW! I'm super impressed.. the color is sooo rich, the textures are incredible and the way everything comes together couldn't BE any more perfect!  The inspiration dress is nice.. but c'mon, other than as a bridal gown or on the red carpet, where would you wear it? I honestly like your version SO much better.  Definitely wear it bowling!  But if you're invited to any weddings, or go to any clubs, or have ANY event that's even slightly more dressy than a backyard barbecue..... wear that dress!

btw.. that color against your skin tone with your hair color?? I doubt you could find a more stunning color!

This is just outstanding!  I would LOVE a tutorial, please!  I have been wanting to do a purse, but can't decide on which style to make.. I'd love to make one just like this.

Opera Cream Candy Recipe
This quick and easy opera cream recipe is taken from "The Carbondale Cook Book of Tried and Tested Recipes" by the Young Lady Workers of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Carbondale, Pennsylvania, published by the International Textbook Press, Scranton, PA, in 1924.
Oh WOW!  I was born in Carbondale, and although I attended the Catholic and Baptist churches, (long story on why the 2) in the summer, the Baptist, the Methodist, and I think the Presbyterian churches shared services, so that the ministers could have vacations.  I wound up marrying a man who went to the Methodist church.  My mother in law was famous for her Welsh cookies, which she made by the hundreds with the women of the Methodist church for fund raisers.  I'd LOVE to see more recipes from this book.. any chance you could pm some to me?

Thanks so much for the connection to home!

Id prefer a sugar daddy supported bottom so I could be crafting all the time, but we all have to make due with what were given.
First off...  at the above quote.. still!

But more importantly, thank you for the incredible tutorial, and thank you for hosting your pictures for it here at Craftster!  Sooo often, I find a post that sounds really great, or worse, a tutorial, and all the pictures are gone.  I can't wait to try this!  Thank you again!
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: My kids rendered in corduroy on: December 26, 2009 03:01:08 PM
This is absolutely amazing.. BEYOND amazing!  Yes, this will definitely be a family heirloom, as well it should be.  You said your budget was $0, and right now, I'm sure you're realizing how beneficial that really was.  I can't imagine buying anything, no matter how much the monetary cost, that would even come close to how incredibly special this is.  I'm hoping you'll let us know your parents' reaction.  I know I'd be just blown away!

Oh... and even though it's already been chosen a featured project, I'm still clicking this rocks, because it really does!
