Hearts and Buttons Bracelet (8.5 inches) and Earrings

Sorry for the earrings pic, I didn't have time to get them outside to shoot.

First time jewlery maker.  It took hours to get things 'acceptable' even then I need to figure out a new way to make more rounded jump rings.

5  Needle book in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by fassett_kelly on: April 07, 2011 11:03:37 PM
Not sure if this goes here, but a needle book does carry needles....

It holds needles with the pink fleece and the little pocket holds a needle threader.  I wasn't sure how to have the safety pins attached so I just stuck 'em in there.

6  Kitty Cat Coasters in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by fassett_kelly on: April 07, 2011 10:51:43 PM
Here are some coasters I've made, they have a thin layer of interfacing, so they are rather flimsy, but they were good practice.

7  First Wallet! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by fassett_kelly on: April 05, 2011 09:58:21 PM
I went ahead and made an attempt at a wallet from this tute!

I spent hours on it and attempted to make a few more, but they didn't turn out nearly as well as this one did. I am really proud of it!

Images are to my flickr acct.

How do I get my pics to show up like the first one?

Answer by alwaysinmyroom:  be sure to copy the image URL off of your flicker account and paste between the insert image brackets img flicker photo url /img--I can't type in the [] but they go around the words "img" and "/img" Smiley

8  Wedding Cake my SISTER made! in Dessert by fassett_kelly on: October 19, 2010 06:29:18 AM
First off I am soooooo proud of her!  She's 19 and did it all by herself!!!  I think she has some real skills!  It was her first tiered type cake.  The flowers aren't eatable, so ordered them online.  This was my wedding cake she made for yesterday.  She told me she had to make it a total of 3 times since a tier would break.  It is absolutely amazing!!! (She's in the first pic!)

Any help would be awesome!  Or if you can tell me how to make the top part, where darts go, etc.  or have a free pattern.

10  Re: beaded wire bracelets - with tutorial!! in Beads: Completed Projects by fassett_kelly on: May 28, 2010 07:40:55 AM
I know this is an old thread, however it is on my front page as a highlighted tutoral/project.  I found it at about 1am and stay up till about 2am making it.  The bead wrapping was easy, but I had a problem with the whole cuff thing.  Being my first time working with wire, I don't think it's so bad.  It does have kinks and score marks on it, but yeah.  Anyone have any pictures as to how they made their cuff ends?
