HMMM...I was thinking spray paint (aren't there ones for plastic that might work??)....although I think the person who is wanting to do this would love the idea of covering it entirely in crystals (she's 14, lol)!!
This is a 6 card sampling of the 24 blank cards I have ready to send. There are 4 different paper "sets" that each went into 6 cards for 24 total. Some say HI or HELLO on the outside and some say "Just for You". They are perfect for swaps!
My friend has a train case from Target that she would like to redo. The inside feels like a cheap baby blanket & the outside is lavender shiny vinyl (I think) with lime green trim and handle. We have the inside figured out as I was able to remove the cardboard to recover it (or size whatever we use), but we can't figure out how to redo the outside. It seems like paint would all chip off since it is slick feeling. We had thought about paper, but what glue would last?
I did this once before and am seriously considering it again...I think I would do a set of some sort of cards -- not sure if they would be for holidays or blank or thank you or birthdays or what! Any thoughts?
